These compact low profile Williams Guide Receiver Peep Sights are lightweight, strong and rustproof with positive windage and elevation adjustment locks. In most cases the sight utilizes the existing factory dovetail or screw holes on top of the rifle's receiver for installation.

I received this item ...

I received this item quickly as per usual from Midway and found it to be a little tight, as the description mentioned, which was no surprise. About 10 minutes filing away at the dovetail mount with a small triangular file was all it took and the part slipped right on, tight but secure. Overall, I'm very pleased with the product and would recommend it highly to anyone looking for a better sight than their rifle came with. NOTE: this sight comes with the 0.093" aperture, so if you're looking to do target shooting, you might like to also order the 0.050" aperture, which will give you a tighter sight picture. Good shooting!

Very nice peep

I recently installed this Williams peep on a Henry Frontier rifle. It took about 30 minutes of filing with a 3 sided jewelers file to get a perfect fit. I matched this with a Marbles .570 tall front fire sight and the peeps adjustment is in the mid range at a 50 yard sight in.
This sight has made a world of difference for my old eyes. It is a quality product that is easy to adjust. Midway shipping was very fast. I also recommend the .050 aperture for target shooting. This was a great upgrade for my rifle and over 50 eyes.

Do not buy this for a henry lever action 22 lr filed it to almost nothing still would not fit scrached the receiver all up and still no sight.

I took a chance on this sight for my Marlin 81TS because I didn't want to drill and tap my receiver. After some filing and attention to detail for fitting I'm glad I went this route. As stated in others comments, if you are going to hunt with it the aperture it comes with is sufficient but if you want a tack driver purchase the smaller one also. Looks good, quality is top notch and carry a small gun-bit driver for adjustment to the range and you'll be a happy camper. I recommend.

This sight fitted easily to my Browning Auto-22 with a very little filing of the dovetail on the sight. It is a vast improvement over the original open sights. The aperture as supplied is suitable for hunting. For target shooting, I would use a smaller one. The front sight needed to be raised approximately 5mm to compensate for the additional height of the rear sight.

Great sight! It will fit a Savage MK II with a bit of work to the underside of the base. It only took me about 30 min of filling and presto instant peep sight! I sighted this in at 50 yrds, and so far works like a charm.

I used this sight on a Henry lever action, and there was fitting required. After installation, I was very pleased with the combination of the Williams, and a fiber optic front sight, very accurate for open sights, and easy to see for us "seniors".

The sight attached to the receiver easily with no problems. I recommend the smaller (0.050") aperture for target shooting. The standard one may be acceptable for hunting. The only negative feature is you have to remove the aperture to adjust the sight and you need a jeweler's screwdriver to adjust the sight.

After a lot of judicious filing it fit my Henry H001 Youth lever action but had to use past the lowest marked setting if you can get a taller front sight it should allow for use for adjustment.
