Pachmayr Gripper grips are made from a specially formulated rubber compound which optimizes control and recoil absorption. The finger groove style is popular for combat shooting and hunting. A covered backstrap and slight palm swell fills the hand but is not so large as to be uncomfortable. Gripper grips are fully checkered for appearance as well as for control. Black.

Although they are large and make the gun harder to conceal, these grips make it possible to fire loads that are very uncomfortable (read kick like heck), even with the factory rubber grips. I've got big hands, and these seem designed for me. Like the previous commenter, the Unique load is do-able. Great!

These grips make a big difference in the shooting-comfort-factor for the little CA44 Bulldog. Now when I go shooting, I always take 100 rounds and I almost always shoot all my ammo up. Since I installed these, everything up to 265 grain RD lead bullets are no problem in my little 20oz belly gun. They do make the grip slightly longer, but worth the slight increase in size.

I use this grip on my Charter Arms Bulldog .44. It helps a lot in controlling the little-big revolver. Not much for looks, but control is what it's about!

I got a Target Bulldog at a fantastic price and I found out why. My handload of Unique; 240 gr lrnfp was unbelievably painful from the first shot (It had the old wood target grips). I made light loads (Clays; 200 gr lrnfp). Still painful. I got these as a last resort and they are wonderful. My Unique load is now manageable. They are large, but they are in proportion with the Target Bulldog's 4" barrel. My wife can even shoot the thing now.

This grip also fits the Charter Arms 38 Off Duty. It is a large grip (4-3/8 inches tall) that fits my hand nicely. The original small grip is for concealed carry, and was awkward for practice shooting. This grip places the hand and trigger in a much more natural and comfortable position.

I purchased these grips for my Charter Undercover. Overall, a well made product, but mine was returned for two reasons. First, the screw that held the two halves together was too long because the only way it could be snugged up was when the screw stuck out the opposite side. Second, the grip was simply too large for my hand. I wear a size medium glove, and it was just a bit too thick in all directions; like many double stack .45's I couldn't reach the controls. Will exchange for the Compact grip instead, as that should allow a better purchase.
