Product fits into the ...

Product fits into the chamber of the rifle and props the bolt open about an inch. The rifle will fire with the bolt still open, so the hammer comes up and contacts the rear underside of the bolt, rather than getting a full swing at the rear and hitting the tail of the firing pin. It's an adequate tool; if a bit overpriced. This is a turned piece of hard plastic. (An appropriate manufacturing technique for a small-run item.) A molded part could be made for much less, and would work just as well. (For that matter, the blocky Armalite chamber flags work almost as well, and can be had for free in some cases).
