It's the most effective ...

It's the most effective bore cleaner that I've used. This product works very well in removing carbon. Fill the bore with cleaning foam and let it set for 15 to 30 minutes. Run a few patches through the bore and that's it. This product has no odor but it irritates my sinuses if the room is not ventilated.

I take this with me ...

I take this with me everywhere I shoot. At the range it works great to clean things up while I let the bore cool between groups of different handloads. Doesn't take much to work effectively. Letting it sit for 30min is a good idea too. The crude and blue copper pore out of the barrel. I really like the fact that if you tilt the barrel down a bit you won't get any cleaning solvent in the action or magazine. The 3 oz can fits in a range bag perfectly and the hose stays attached. The 11 oz can is under solvents (gel).

Just a little update from ...

Just a little update from my last review. The combination of foaming bore cleaner and the Bore Snake has really changed gun cleaning. The foaming bore cleaner does a great job or removing copper and powder, but often still requires the use of a bored brush. But, without a doubt, this stuff works and makes cleaning much easier/fast.They using the foaming bore cleaner followed by a Bore Snake.Pro's:- removed powder fowling- removed copper build-up- no strong odors- cuts BORE cleaning time to almost nothingCon's:- I wish that it came in a larger can.

Used this stuff after a ...

Used this stuff after a thorough cleaning with Hoppes 9 and patches were coming out clean. A dose of foaming bore cleaner let me know just how much powder and copper were still in the bore. 3 swipes with clean patches and now we look like new. I do suggest letting it sit for 30 minutes before cleaning but the wait is worth it. Truly amazing and no nasty stench like the Hoppes 9. I told all my friends and they are using it now too.

This was my favorite ...

This was my favorite product till using CR-10. My large magnum rifle leaves copper fouling and this did the job with numerous soakings and it's very easy. Usually I did some reloading while waiting for the foam to settle. Great product for great non-gas powered smaller rifles.

Well I've used these ...

Well I've used these sorts of things before so I wasn't expecting any miracles. Well it works, an over night soak and 10 strokes with a nylon brush and a patch with Kroil or break free dry followed by thoroughly coating the barrel with KG bore prep. Also for really quick copper clean up, mix half Birchwood Casey bore scrubber and JB bore compound it'll get er done, but ya got to scrub just a little!

Awesome product! Copper ...

Awesome product! Copper removal has always been a pain, kinda smelly too. This product works faster and without the stink of other copper removers. I've used shooters choice, cr-10, sweets, and #9-benchrest, though all of these are fine products they stink. This foam cleaner works in 15 min. with no brushing. The only other one that works as fast is cr-10 but it involves brushing and smelly fingers.

I've used as many ...

I've used as many different solvents as you can imagine, they all have one thing in common, they stink and they don't work very well without scrubbing. With this product, all I do is let it sit in the bore and wipe it out with a few patches. Sometimes I have to do two soakings, but that's usually no bother. The only downside is that you aren't supposed to use it in gas autoloaders.
