Product Information

Hogue Shotgun Stocks are molded from a super tough fiberglass reinforced polymer ensuring stability and accuracy. These superior stocks are durable, weatherproof and non-slip. The grip of the stock and the entire forend are OverMolded with soft rubber for outstanding handling. Features also include ambidextrous ergonomic palm swells and a soft recoil cushioning butt pad. This stock is available in orange and is boldly labeled "LESS LETHAL" on the buttstock. The black and orange color combination is ideal for law enforcement.

This stock has a standard 12" length of pull. Gunsmithing is not typically required for installation but may require various firearm-specific wrenches and other tools for stock and forend removal.

Love this stock!

Perfect fit on my 870 Wingmaster. The short LOP is perfect for use by my wife, 12 year old son and myself. For use on a home defense shotgun, I wanted something that would allow all of us to grab and go without adjusting the stock and this was the perfect solution. Excellent grip as with all of the Hogue overmolded products.

Very nice. Short LOP is ...

Very nice. Short LOP is money even with a 37" sleeve, keeps the overall length of the weapon down. Don't wrap your thumb and you'll be fine. Makes it much easier to run a squared up iso stance. Also, this stock seems to have more of a drop making it easier to keep your strong side elbow tucked down tight. Remington should ship all working 870s with this rig.

I bought this to replace the Speedfeed II stock that came on my 870P with 14" LOP. I am not a big man 5' 8" but this stock was too short for me. I sent it back and got a Speedfeed youth stock at 13" LOP. It fits a whole lot better. The Hogue stock is good quality and has a better recoil pad than the youth stock that I replaced it with. I just used the original Speedfeed II recoil pad instead of the one that came with the youth model. I think it is better than the Hogue recoil pad.

I had bought this stock ...

I had bought this stock for my Remington 870 Marine Magnum for home defense purposes. After a totally painless installation I asked my wife to shoulder the shotgun and tell me what she thought. Well after a couple presentations she was grinning from ear to ear. "It is so easy to work the action now!" She was very excited to be able to have a gun that fit now. No problems cycling the slide anymore. I took the 870 to the range and did some shooting with it and I have zero complaints. The recoil pad absorbs 3" mags with no problem and 2 3/4" feel like pussycats, at least to me. No real noticable cheek pounding either. I think this is an excellent addition for anyone looking to improve the fit of their shotgun. And, if your wife or significant other or child likes to shoot too it will improve the experience for them too. Buy one in confidence. Really.

One of the best improvements I've made to my 870..much easier to shoulder. The overmolded rubber feels and grips amazing. Recoil pad is nicer than the original, but does not absorb recoil as well as a Limbsaver pad.
