A flash hider is a muzzle attachment for a firearm used to quickly disperse the burning gases exploding from the barrel so as to limit the amount of visible flash emitted from the firearm. A muzzle break limits the amount of felt recoil and muzzle jump. Includes a crush washer.

I was impressed with this product. It all but eliminated muzzle climb and greatly reduced felt recoil. This made a very noticeable difference in the speed and accuracy with which I could engage targets. The bigger noise and flash was not nearly as bad as I had expected from other reviews - somewhat more, but not so much as to be any problem in my opinion. Workmanship, materials, style and price are very good - which is what I've come to expect from YHM. Got to give this 5 stars.

Not only does it say I'm going to hit you in the face but it makes my Spikes AR Mid-length 16" bark like a pitbull. The guy next to me at the range shooting an A2 thought I had a larger caliber. Its not a lot louder but it does change the sound as well as make a significant improvement with recoil. Best $25 ever spent!!!

Another great YHM product. Looks Medeival, but reduces muzzle rise noticably. Just don't stick your leg with the teeth, it will leave a mark...

Great brake for the money especially. Some challenges getting the timing right but not a big deal. Install this along with a heavy buffer and recoil spring and my Franklin pistol has similar muzzle as my 3 gun rifle. I like it a bunch. Is loud and does make for great flash show in the evening hours with the 10.5 inch barrel!

This brake is almost perfect in keeping my retical on the target (at 100yrds).I did not believe the comments about how loud it was until my first practice shot and HAD to put on my ear protection.But I guess when it comes to real life threats and follow up shots I choose muzzle control over my hearring...

This is a Great muzzle brake it made a world of difference on my Su-16! Reduces the recoil quite a bit! But the down side of a muzzle brake is it makes your gun a lot louder! It isnt the BEST muzzle brake but it is the best bang for your buck!

I had used the original A2 style flash hider on my AR and with a 3x magnifier, wanted something to take just a little bit more recoil out. This comp fit the bill nicely and at a great price point. Reduced muzzle recoil from a sharp, short jerk to a minor push. Easy to install (less than 15 minutes).As mentioned, it does increase the report considerably and would definitely not be recommended for indoor use or CQB (other team members might thump you back). The flash is pretty pronounced as well. This is a compensator - plain and simple. If you want reduced recoil this is the ticket. Another great product from Yankee Hill. Thanks guys!

This muzzle break is very well made. It keeps muzzle rise to a minimum. Your follow-up shots are quicker to acquire with this product. However, keep in mind, it is not a flash hider. I installed this muzzle break on the Double Star 16" heavy barrel and it renders a huge flash signature! It is also very loud!
