Ultra-light Harris Bipods are manufactured with heat treated steel and hard alloys. They clamp to the QD stud of most bolt action rifles that have a conventional stock design. Carrying your rifle with a sling or shooting off-hand is not impeded by the use of a Harris Bipod. Folding legs have completely adjustable spring-return extensions (Except for Model BRM and LM).

Method of Attachment: Attaches to sling swivel stud. A sling swivel can be mounted to the bipod's swivel stud clamp.

Notes:

Most suitable for shooting from a bench.
Popular among pistol shooters.
May not fit all guns; adapters available separately.

Notes on Leg Extension Method:

Friction Lock Models:

These are all models except those with an M in the model designation
Feature a friction lock or set screw to adjust height
Set screw has a large knurled knob for easy operation
Simply loosen the friction lock to extend leg and tighten to lock in place

Leg Notch Models:
These are the models with LM or BRM in the designation:
These legs are spring loaded and when the release button is depresses, they kick out to maximum height

I use the BR while shooting from a portable bench. They are very sturdy, easy and quickly adjusted for level. They are quickly put on and taken off. I like a set on each rifle, as they make a good stand at the rangewhile not shooting. They fold up small enough and the sling hooks to them so as not to be a problem while carrying the rifle. They are in my opinion a very good and useful product.

I installed this on a Remington 700 Tactical, and after the 6th shot one of the legs came off. The nut came off and the shaft poped out. After I got it back home I replaced the nuts with some selflocking nuts and some blue Locktite, and have not had any problems since. I would have given it a 5 star if the leg would not have come loose.

I own two Harris bipods, a Model L and the BR. I love the BR when shooting off a bench or prone. Being lower than the L model, I find it easier to stabilize the rifle when I don't have a sandbag for the rear. I am planning on getting another one soon.I have bought other brand bipods because they were cheaper, but the Harris bipods are worth the money and I won't consider any other brand.

Bipod received was somehow out of shape - when mounted the rifle would be strongly canted to one side. Adjusting the brass plate (for off-center studs) did not correct this issue as it was a canting issue rather than alignment. Midway was great and promptly allowed me to return it for a different model. This was my second Harris bipod - the first one I got still works great, and I'm very pleased with it but I need a shorter model. So many other good reviews lead me to believe this particular one I got was just some sort of QC fluke. After this mishap I decided to try a swiveling model instead. Midway was great and after telling them of the canting problem they immediately allowed me to return it and are refunding my shipping costs. Thanks MidwayUSA! I hope my third Harris bipod doesn't disappoint.

Great product. I use it on my DPMS AR-15, for both site-in at the range and hunting in the field. Took a Javelina last week while shooting prone off this Bi-pod. It can be adjusted for uneven ground without too much trouble, it just takes 20 or 30 secs. Not a big deal to do, while setting up, if you plan to shoot from a concealed position.

This is the first bipod I've purchased. I was in hopes of not having to carry more than just the rear bag to the range when firing groups-17HMR/.223 etc.-very skeptical at first. Surprisingly, the same or smaller size groups printed out. It has been my "go-to" item when packing up shooting gear. Very well made product-does exactly what the manufacturer claims.

Very reliable build. Adds great shooting stability if flat shooting surfaces are used. For uneven surfaces the adjustment is difficult. Is great for bench but I find it not suitable for real life hunting.

I have just recently recieved my harris ultralight bipod and I love it. I had purchased a cheaper version of a bipod at walmart but a bolt fell off after only a few uses. The harris bipod works great on the bench and off. I find it not suitable for shooting from any other position in the field except prone or leaning over a rock or log. I do love to use it on my marlin heavy barrel .17 hmr while ground hog hunting in fields near my home. All in all great product and would recommend it to anyone!!!
