The Otis Brass Scraper Tool Set includes a scraper, a locking lug scraper, a straight pick, a pin punch, a nylon end brush, a compact receiver brush, and two rod handles. These tools will not scratch the firearm, and with them you can now thoroughly clean areas such as the locking lugs, the slides, bolt face, rails, and any other hard to reach places. These components can be ordered as separate add-ons to all kits, and will fit in existing softpacks!

Great tools for all your cleaning/restoring need - not just limited to AR (which I don't have). I am using this set of tools for my Lee enfield restoration project with good result.I am pretty sure I will use these tools for deep cleaning all my Walthers and Sigs next. (The angled brushes set from Birchwood casey I got had been a major failure.) Also, did I mentioned these tools are made in the USA?

Honestly, I bought this because I became obsessed with how many well designed tiny Otis products I could fit into the awesome carrying case. I just wrapped the whole brass set into a ziplock bag and it fit great (took out the 17hmr cable to make room). Set is well designed and it's nice to be able to get at some places where an oiled patch just wasn't cutting it. Did I need this? No, but having it allows me to clean better, it was cheap, and it fits in the same case as the only other stuff I need to clean the guns, so it was a good purchase.

Like the Otis bore ...

Like the Otis bore cleaning systems, the quality of this scraper set is top notch. The brass is heavy duty and well polished. It looks and feels like a quality tool. Also reminiscent of their cleaning systems is the focus on making everything as small and clever as possible. I sort of like that, but some people may prefer larger tools that are a bit more ergonomic, that don't require threading rods together to assemble. Otis claims this scraper set can be carried in the pouch of their tiny cleaning systems. The tools break down small enough to fit, and require amazingly little space, but there isn't room for more than 10 patches in that little cleaning kit, so where are these eight tools supposed to go? Despite their small size and the round rod handles that need to be assembled, the Otis scraper set works well, and does the rest of the universal gun cleaning job not done by the Otis tactical bore cleaning system. The brush is a bit smaller than an AR-15 brush, but it does the job on an AR, and in even smaller areas on other guns. The flat brass scraper is very handy for cleaning inside semi-auto pistol slides, as well as inside receivers of semi-auto rifles. The straight and bent picks do a good job cleaning AR style locking lugs, and also work well in hard to reach areas on other guns. The pin punch is .089" which is just right for 3/32" takedown pins (all Glocks, etc). The picture shows brass, but the pin punch I received was Parkerized steel. Overall, this is one well designed kit. The only things I'd add would be a second brush the same as the nylon brush but with brass bristles to be used when a little more aggressive cleaning is needed, and a soft pouch designed to mate with the Otis tactical bore cleaning system so these eight little tools have a home and aren't lying around loose. What I'd REALLY like is an Otis kit that's twice the size of their tactical kit, with room for 100 of their patches, 4 ounces of good cleaner like Hoppe's Elite, an ounce of good
