Super refined precision instrument oil that is perfect for lubricating delicate bearings, gauges, meters, guns, etc. Oil will not gum or congeal even after extended use. Resists evaporation, requires less frequent application. Effective at -50 degrees F.

I have found this product to be very useful for both lubrication and cleaning purposes. It is excellent when used with J-B bore paste to get a barrel really clean.

I've been impressed with ...

I've been impressed with the performance of Kroil on duty issue Beretta 92D's. I wanted a lubricant with particulate floating qualities and more staying power than Rem-Oil. Maybe it's the finish on the Berettas- but after cleaning and applying Rem-Oil, after a week or so, there seems to be no indication that it was ever applied. So far, Microil has performed very well and has shown to retain lubricating properties much longer than Rem-Oil. I have yet to be able to evaluate microil in extreme cold temps- but foresee no problems. If it ever clabbers up and gets humid around here- I plan on running some side-by-side rust prevention comparisons. All in all, I am very satisfied with Microil and would recommend it's use on SA sidearms, revolvers, bolt rifles, and pump shotguns. If I can get around to trying it out on AR's and Garands- I'll let ya'll know how that works out as well.

* NOTE: This is NOT a penetrating lubricant like Kroil/Aero Kroil.The thing I love the most about Microil is the fact that it lives up to the claim that it resists gumming and/or congealing. That isn't to say that dust and other particulates don't stick to it, just that I've never had any gumming issues due to that. In terms of usage with firearms, it's my lube of choice for trigger groups and other areas which aren't easy to get to, like the mainsprings in 1911s.I use a wide range of Kano Labs products (and have for over 15 years) for various purposes and recommend them all as often and fervently as I can. A week doesn't often go by when I don't have the occasion to recommend someone pitch their cans of WD-40 for Kroil.
