Very consistent groups for me

Although this bullet wasn't close to me best load, it never shot over 1 inch with 5-shot groups. It also never got below 3/4 inch 5-shot groups either.
This was in 1969 using a new Remington 788 in 22-250. My best groups were always between 5/16 - 1/2 inch and always 5-shop groups w/Sierra 55 gr spitzers.
I always wanted to hunt deer with it but never had the opportunity. The 1 in 14" twist was probably the reason it didn't do better.

H&R 223 + Varget + 70gr = dead deer

In my 1/9 H&R I can put 10 cold shots into 2" at 100yrds. This is not the most accurate bullet but the weight and toughness makes it my choice for white tails. I got one in the lung and exiting far shoulder at 150 yrds. The other two I shot were lung shots at 100 yards and all exited. I use Varget and Rem 7 1/2 primers and push it to mild cratering. I was really shocked how well a 223 worked on deer. I think this bullet, or another heavy or bonded bullet, really sets this cartridge into a new territory. For white tails I even like it better than my 243, for less kick and blast.

I am making one shot kills on big hogs! Whether I take head shots or vitals, these bullets are doing the job from my AR. Bullets retain much of their mass and I got a pass-through on a decent sow ... taking out one of her pigs with the same shot. Plink with everything else, hunt with this bullet.

These bullets simply hammer coyotes. I was looking for a load that gave better performance than the standard 55 grain poly-tipped bullets and I found it with this bullet. Combined with Varget powder they really put the hit on the coyotes. I can't wait to try them on the pigs next. Very accurate out of my 1/9 Ruger, give them try.

This bullet will put three @ .45-.50 at 100 yards with either H380 or H414powders in my Ruger M77 rifle with a 1-14" twist.It smacks the 300 yard metal gong very hard, with all its energy and can be heard even with ear muffs on.This bullet also grouped better than the Nosler 60gr partition, in my gun, which was weird.I gave it 4 stars do to the low .215 BC which hurts on shots over 300 yards.

With .223 Rem/.222 Rem Mag this bullet gives double diameter expansion on whitetail deer and text book lead core retension .... you can't ask for better performance.... all one shot kills last several years... some over 200 yards ....

This bullet gives very consistent good hunting accuracy (less than 1 MOA) in my .222 Remington and .22-250 Remington both with 1:12 twist barrels. With my .22-250, I took a large whitetail doe at 360 yards with this bullet with a single shot that passed completely through it dropping it in its tracks.

I have used this bullet in my AR-15 for many years now and have many one shot kills that dropped deer within ten yards or less, all shots penetrated through, this a great 22 centerfire bullet.
