This was the trigger of choice for me after reading reviews and finding almost no negatives about it. personally i like a trigger to be a little heavier (i carry a d/a handgun). i will say this trigger has No "discernible" creep. you engage the trigger and the next movement is the hammer dropping with no grit or mush. also the reset has a very positive feel to it.after putting ~550 rounds downrange and probably pressing the trigger about 2500 times(dry practice) the only negative thing i will say about it is when verifying my zero at 200yds it was difficult to maintain a good group due to the heaviness(again my first rifle of any type so it may have been my fault) so this definitely isn't for the "snipers" out there imho. comparing this to my friends BM and RRA trigers proved they were not in the same league. some triggers do the job but dd does the job much better for me

I purchased two of these because of the great reviews. It's just another AR 15 trigger no more no less. I have not used any others but sure don't know where the other users found a five or even a six pound trigger pull. Mine were over seven pounds with some creep.

I have to amend my ...

I have to amend my previous review. After sighting in my rifle I have to drop two stars because of the trigger and grip. Shooting 10 rounds left me with a dent in my finger and I had to take a break before shooting again. One of the other guys that shot the gun that day(a Coast Guard officer at the local CG training center) said it was the worst trigger he had ever felt in an AR. The grip is just a generic plastic grip. I ended up with a drop in trigger and a Hogue grip. I don't expect a really nice trigger with a parts kit, but for this price, it better have a nice grip and at least a usable trigger. I still stand by what I said before about fit and completeness; everything else outside of the trigger group is still in this gun and went together with no issues.

Everything about this parts kit was great, with the exception of the trigger pin walking out. I am not sure if it the fault of the DPMS lower, or the pins that came in the DD lower parts kit, or a combo of the two. I would prefer a little less take up on the trigger pull, but that is just being critical, and in comparison, is much better overall to most others in quality and price. 5 stars!

I ordered this kit because it included the Magpul trigger guard and because I was very impressed with the Daniel Defense upper I bought for this(my first) build. Everything fit as it should, but for the price I would expect some instructions rather than just the exploded view on the back of the bag insert. I also would expect a better grip for this price, considering the only difference between this kit and the DPMS kit is the MOE guard, and that does not account for the 20 some dollar difference. Aside from the price gripes I was very happy with the fit and finish. I haven't fired the gun yet, but everything feels good bench testing. Overall, I would buy this kit again.

This lower kit came with everything needed to put together a stripped lower, nice and neat in sealed individualized sections. The only three complaints are that one, there are no instructions. and two, that the trigger is grinding feeling. And three, that the mag release did not fit perfectly in my cmmg lower.

Fits and functions well. No complaints. If you are building a lower for the first time, make sure you get spare detent pins and springs in case you lose them during assembly. Wear safety goggles. When springs fly, they are like projectiles! I will recommend getting a receiver block and proper tools to make assembly easy.

This has a very nice single stage trigger pull. However:1. There are no instructions. I believe the green spring is the sear spring.2. The Magpul trigger guard (that replaces the standard detent pin) requires a 1/16" hex key that is not supplied with the lower parts kit. The regular Magpul trigger guard kit that you can buy separately comes with it, but not this lower parts kit. You CANNOT install the front trigger guard pin without it.3. One of my kits had missing parts.
