This is my favorite .22 ...

This is my favorite .22 ammo for competition. I will admit I don't shoot it as often as I would like to because of the price. However, it is the most accurate and most consistent .22 LR ammo I have ever used in my handguns. When I win the lottery this will be my "go to" handgun ammo.

I tried Lapua Pistol King ...

I tried Lapua Pistol King along with about 10 other brands in my Ruger Mark III bull barrel and S&W Model 617 revolver. The Pistol King functioned flawlessly in the Ruger. It demonstrated good precision, averaging 2.1 inch groups at 25 meters with iron sights and using a rest. However, its precision was not any better than the less expensive CCI Mini-mags. Shooting Pistol Kings in the S&W Model 617 quickly revealed a problem. Although the Pistol Kings were by far the most precise (averaging 1.9 inch groups with iron sights and using a rest), the Pistol Kings were extremely difficult to extract from the cylinder. It appeared that the cartridge head expanded so much that the extractor would not push them out. I had to pry them out one by one. I have had similar problems with all German made match grade ammo in this revolver.

This ammo shoots reliably ...

This ammo shoots reliably from my Ruger MkII. It is consistent and cycles the action even though it feels like a lower pressure round than most bulk .22LR. My groups with this are consistently tighter than any other ammo. It also shoots remarkably clean for .22LR

Very accurate , shoots .5 groups in my old Remington bolt gun. Velocity at 3 ft is 1005 to 1020, sub sonic.

I've shot the Lapua ...

I've shot the Lapua Pistol King in all my rimfire handguns and the performance is very much worth the price. Not to mention it shoots good in my rimfire rifles as well. My best group is with my S&W 617 K-22 Masterpiece and my Colt Single action, as well as my Volquartsen rifle. I highly recommed this load!!

It's the only 22 ammo I use for matches. Very accurate and reliable out of my Hammerle 208s. Very accurate at 50 yards.

Extremely accurate ammo ...
