This stock features a removable/adjustable 3/8" cheekrest that provides that rigid cheek weld typically found only on A2 stocks; the stock also features a six-position collapsible buttstock making this stock extremely versatile for many applications. I like this stock, 4 stars because no matter what I tried or how hard I pushed, I couldn't get the buffer in, just switched back to the old one and all was good. The recoil pad is not needed for recoil but as a tall guy with a long length of pull it made for a perfect fit, which was the only thing I disliked about the M16 and M4 while I was in the military was the short length of pull. For the money I am well pleased and in my opinion well worth it

Good stock, cheekrest ...

Good stock, cheekrest does get in the way of a charging handle. Other than that it rattles a bit, everything else is perfect. It looks and feels like a high quality.

All position detents lock ...

All position detents lock tight. Riser only interferes with charging handle on shortest settings (which I don't use). There IS a sling attachment as shown is photo. Rubber pad is removable if you don't like it but mine will stay in place for the .450 Bushmaster upper that's in front of it. Best of all, it's made in the U.S.A.!!!

cheek pad gets in the way ...

cheek pad gets in the way of the charging handle, and the outer piece rattles. however it works great for my wife, who likes the higher cheek piece. the buffer tube is metal and seems quite sturdy. not the best, but work the money for sure.

I purchased this stock for my AR lower build. The price seemed suspect, but $70.00 wasn't exactly cheap. This complete buttstock kit fit nicely into my Delaware Industries lower. Assembly was easy. I used a spanner wrench to fit the castle nut. The buffer and buffer tube is completely metal and seems to be well built. What I really like about this stock is the adjustable cheek piece. I wanted a little more versatility with my lower and I specifically looked or a collapsible buttstock with an adjustable cheek piece so I would have a lower that would be suitable for a carbine, rifle, or varmint upper. I built a varminter upper to finish my AR project and I am really glad I went with this buttstock. When I finally decide to buy a carbine upper in the future, I will be glad that I chose this buttstock. The cheek piece will be overkill for the carbine, but removal of the cheek piece is fairly easy. My only complaint is there is a little bit of wobble, but no more than most other adjustable and collapsible buttstocks. Word of advice, Youtube does have installation videos online for this buttstock which was really nice!

Very nice kit with everything needed. The extra pad on the back is a bit over kill for 5.56 but who would complain about getting too much. A little wobble when locked into place is the only reason it isn't a 5 star.

I was pleased with the fit, finish and all adjustments that can be made with this buttstock. The only drawback I can see is it rattles when you run with the weapon.

This is my first folding stock, so I didn't really know what to expect. I like the cheekrest and the recoil pad is great. Only complaint is minor tolerance differences on the buffer tube and outer stock assembly but I sort of guessed it wouldn't be super tight. Otherwise the locking mechanism is solid and easy to actuate. Would buy again.

I really like this stock and it is a great value for the price. The only thing I dont like is that there isnt a place for a sling on it. but other than that I love it and it works really well and was easy to install
