The Bushnell Banner is one very well made scope for the price. I have mine put on a Remington model 700 , in the 300 ultra mag cal. and it withstands the punishment this rifle dishes out effortlessly. I've just ordered two more for my 338 cal , and my 308 cal. If you want a quality scope at a reasonable price this is it.

Ordered when Midway had it on sale, figured it would fit the bill for my .308. When I went to sight it in, the scope would not hold zero. I'd get it close, make a small adjustment, fire again and it would be way off. After 40rnds I gave up, it will be going back to Bushnell this week.

Had a Banner 3x9 40mm a few years back and did not care for it. This one exceeded my expectations. Cristal clear at all power ranges. Same features as Elite scopes: fast focus, nice adjustments. I think the 50mm lens is the key/ It lets in enough light so everything looks clear even in low light. So if you don't mind the large objective lens and the length of the scope this will compete with the high end scopes. I mounted on a 597 bull barrel 22 wmr target addition. So the large scope looks like it was made for the gun. I used Leupold high rings. The only real difference between this one and my expensive scopes is the material of the front focus. High end, air craft grade aluminum. This one is plastic and a little larger. I am very happy with the scope and for a quarter of the price cannot be beat. Five Stars all day long!

I have owned several of these scopes from a .22LR to my current one that is on my 7mm mag. Great optics and so far ZERO issues on my 7mm mag that I use for hunting. This is my go to scope for a higher magnification scope with a lower price tag. So far they all have worked above and beyond what I have asked of them!

This scope is not bad for the money. I put it on my Savage 30-06. The focus is only good to 14 power after that it wasnt that clear anymore, 100 yards GREAT, 150 yards ok, 200 yards forget it! Also after 12 to 15 rds. it wont hold zero.

I have two of these scopes, and Im not sure you could buy a better scope for $600 dollars. The first one I bought, I put it on my .300 Win Magnum. It has held up just fine for over 12 years, on this hard kicking caliber. It has dropped countless deer, from early in the morning to so late in the evening, that I could not see the deer with just my eyes, at 200 yards. But I dropped it just fine with this combo. The second one I put on my .270 Win, and it has been there for over 4 years, again with no problems of any kind. Bushnell has a great lifetime warranty, I know because I had to send an old, (Probably worrn out) 3x9 back to them for repair. I had a new 3x9 in just under two weeks. Thats great customer service. Please Bushnell keep making these great scopes, at great prices. They are all I buy now.

What a great scope. Have had hands-on several different brands and feel sure that this is the most bang for the buck out there.Crystal clear glass, excellent reticle, all adjustments are smooth and the overall quality is excellent. This Bushnell rifle scope is one of the best available in this price range.

This is a great scope for the money, very clear. I have used it for hunting night and day. I have made long distance shots on squirrels, coyote and deer with this scope. I have moved it from 204 to 270. I only wish it had target turrets on it.

I put this on a Savage 17HMR. I would say that I am very pleased with this scope. It is very clear and didnt have any problem with getting it zeroed. I didnt have any problem with seeing the bullet holes at 100 yards, unless it was in the black diamond in the middle ;). For smaller calibers I would recommend getting it. I am not sure how it would handle larger calibers.

An addition to my earlier review - I just purchased my third one of these. The first two remain on my 22-250 and .223 and continue to perform well. This scope is just outstanding for the price and after looking around for something for my new 221 Fireball (just built with Midway parts), I couldn't find anything that comes close without having to pay at least 3 times as much. Can't say how it would hold up on heavier caliber rifles, but for what I am shooting, it works great and I've had no problems. I also like the fact that at the range I don't need to use a spotting scope when I have this scope handy. I even use it to spot for other people. I only wish they made it with aballistic plex or similar reticle. That would make a good thing better.

This scope is as good as a scope I bought for 3 times the price. Its clarity, light gathering ability, sturdiness and overall performance is perfect. Why pay more. I have one on a Ruger #1 .270, Ruger M77 .260, Remington 700 .308 and A Weatherby .270. All Banners perform great on all rifles. How they made a scope this good at this price I don't know but the other makers better take note.
