The Daniel Defense EZ CAR AR-15 Quad Rail Handguard is a 2-Piece forearm upgrade that's a Drop-In replacement for a rifle's factory original polymer handguards, with no special tools or modifications to the host firearm required for installation. Precision CNC-Machined from 6061-T6 Aircraft Grade Aluminum and finished with a Mil-Spec Type III Hard Coat Anodizing, the EZ CAR handguard is durably built to stand the test of time and offers plenty of room for the addition of Picatinny Rail-Compatible Tactical Accessories. Once attached to the rifle, the EZ CAR offers an uninterrupted top rail interface that starts at the rear of an A3 Flat-Top Receiver and terminates at the gas block/front sight base. The EZ CAR installs in seconds with the use of a standard AR-15 handguard removal tool and is retained via a standard Delta Ring assembly and Round Handguard End Cap.
