American Eagle is designed specifically for target shooting, training and practice. It's loaded to the same specifications as Federal's Premium loads, but at a more practical price for plinking. This ammunition is new production in reloadable brass cases.

I shot these rounds for the first time today in my Ruger Security Six. These rounds fire much cleaner than the usual Wincherster "white box" or Remington UMC I had been using. Dirty rounds can bring this particular revolver to a locked up halt. This ammo worked great. I ordered more as soon as I got home.

This load is very accurate and no leading, just a little copper on the rifling, but no problem. These are pretty powerful loads when they are compared to other standard .38 specials. Federal quality shows on this product.

Good all around shell for target and probably personal defense. Did not have any problems with it in my Ruger 357/38 2" sub nose. Would buy again.

I must have a box that was loaded a little hot, as I averaged 1095fps out of my Ruger LCR. This is good stuff I will buy more.

Very accurate out of my ...

Very accurate out of my Taurus model 85. 2 inch barreled snub nosed revolver. I choroned 5 rounds and got an average velocity of 740 FPS from the muzzle on a 65 degree day. Rounds where plus or minus 10 fps so these rounds where consistent. On the back of the box it advertises 810 FPS from the muzzle which could be achieved perhaps from a 4 or 6 inch barrel but not a 2 inch snub. Ammo was surprisingly accurate for only being shot from a 2 inch barrel. Great for target shooting but there is probably better choices out there for a defensive round when using a 2 inch barreled revolver. Hope the info helped.

This ammunition is a great value. Packs as much punch as some 38+P and it is accurate in my SP101. I use it for plinking but am sure it would work okay for CCW and home defense.

This is excellent general (not match) target and plinking ammunition. I have shot many thousand rounds in seven .357 DA revolvers (Rugers, Smiths and a Colt), with only one failure to fire (bad primer). Accuracy is appreciably better than required for target/plinking work -- and better than my "old eyes" -- brass is repeatedly re-loadable, powder is reasonably clean, reliability is outstanding, and the price is right. What more could one want in a general target/plinking load?

I shot a box of this ammo in a Colt Trooper .357 and another box in a S&W 327 Perf. Center. It is accurate, clean burning ammo with a little more power than I expected. it is good for informal target practice and just casually punching paper.

Very good practice round. Seemed clean. It doesn't lead up the forcing cone like LRN. Out of a 2" Taurus ultra lite 85, at 25ft, they were spot on and grouped entirely well for a snubby. I was impressed. I fired 2 cylinders worth (10 rounds) and stood there and looked at the gun and wondered where the accuracy of like having another 2" on the barrel came from.
