Works great as advertise, I use a slight twisting motion as I work it down the tube about 1/2 inch at a time adding solvent as I go. Once all the way in I give it several turns and some back and forth and when you pull it out you can see all the crud you've removed. Highly recommend for all AR owners.

An inexpensive and simple way to clean the gas tube on your AR or other very small areas on your other firearms, that a q-tip or swab may be just a bit too big for. They seem well made for a pipe cleaner and make cleaning my collection just a bit easier.

Works as advertised. I use them not only for the gas tube, but for gas key, firing pin hole and holes in various compensators and muzzle brakes.

The "pipe cleaners" are a useful item for cleaning the AR rifle gas tube and other firearms. I can cut any length I require for the job. These are excellent quality, and most of the AR parts dealers do not carry them. As always, Midway has what you need!

Really a must have for cleaning. The gas tube is overlooked by a lot of us. Just think if more of us knew about these we would use them. Feed in a little at a time. Stopping to place tiny amounts of solvent as you feed it into the gas tube. It most certainly will help your weapon cycle better. Probably will extend the service life of your gas tube also. They are a bear to replace.

High quality pipe cleaners. The material feels like cotton; not your typical arts and crafts pipe cleaners with the small nylon bristles. Interesting that when I used this product on my 20" A2 styled upper with about 1500 rounds through it, not much junk came out. Used these gas tube cleaners with the tip soaked in Hoppes #9 powder solvent and was surprised by how little powder residue was removed. Maybe my ammo is just really clean (recently I have been shooting factory reloaded 55gr ammo and Winchester M855 06 headstamp.)

Great item!!! Does a good job. Very easy to use. Just put a little solvent on it and feed it in a little at a time. If you push too much too fast, it'll kink. Just take your time. I use a long pointed hemostat pushing 1/2" at a time dropping a bit more solvent as I go. Once it's in, move it back and forth a few times and your done. Pull it out and throw it away. Can't get any easier than that.
