I use Lapua bullets in ...

I use Lapua bullets in several rifles that I shoot at long range (500 meters plus) and in nearly all cases I've found them to be more accurate than anything else I've tried (Sierra, Berger, Nosler, etc}. In this particular case, with this specific rifle, Sierra 69 gr MatchKing bullets were a little more accurate (five shots in .122 inches @ 100 yds from an out of the box Savage 223). Could be the rifles preference or quite possibly the nut behind the trigger. While the Lapua bullet wasn't the best in this rifle (about .25" for five @ 100 yds) , my expectations are that the new 6.5-284 that was just finished yesterday will wind up shooting the 139gr Lapuas when load development is finished.

Most accurate bullet I ...

Most accurate bullet I have ever fired out of my Remington Model 700 PSS .223 with a 1:9 twist. Additionally, I have discovered this bullet to be perfect for wild turkey if your area happens to allow you to hunt them with rifles. I have never seen one take a step after being hit in the body with one of these and there is no noticeable meat damage.
