My wife bought 2 boxes of these for me by accident when she bought my 22 mag. She thought they were the hollow points. Someone gave me of the 40 gr. hollow points and I went to try both of them out. Surprisingly the TMJ were much more accurate at 100yds. They also mushroom like a good softpoint rifle bullets. This helps them penetrate and because they don't explode makes them better for edible game and bigger game like coyotes. I've found slightly more accurate shells for the 22mag but most are too destructive. So far it's the only bullet I'd try on wild hogs. If you eat what you hunt or shoot game that is bigger than squirrels, give these a try.

This is accurate 22M ammunition in my Ruger 96/22M. Groups (not MOA)average a bit under 2" at 100 yards. This full metal jacket round has a large meplat (flat front instead of pointed or rounded). It seems to be less affected by wind than other 40 grain or less 22M bullets.

I just Got a Kel-Tec ...

I just Got a Kel-Tec PMR-30 & this ammo is great with this pistol. It is accurate from 30 To 45 yards. Out of 30 rounds most where hole in hole shot's. All where less than an inch apart in the spread. This gun chews up ammo. It shoots 30 rounds in about 10 seconds accurately. So this is a great deal for the range or for hunting. If you have a PMR-30 try this ammo & see what you think. Mine loves it!!!!

Not as high in velocity ...

Not as high in velocity as the 30 grain variants but a joy to shoot. 7 and 25 yard groups easily hit into the 8 ring, but not always good enough to hit the bullseye. Pulling my front sight on my Heritage 22 magnum made the rounds finally drop into the bullseye. With such a small caliber, these are the rounds I would opt for if I were to carry a 22 rimfire for protection. They are load and smack the target board with authority and best of all, no failures.

I use these rounds in my Marlin 25MN microgroove with a Leupold 2-7x28 rimfire scope, Duplex reticle. I have not tested these on furry lil woodland cretures yet, but they are decently accurate rounds, I got 1/2" groups at 50 yds with plenty of room for improvement on my part. CCI makes a great product, will be buying the hollow point version of these very soon. Happy hunting!

I have used this round ...

I have used this round out of a CZ American, to kill many hogs. We hunt them out of our deer, bow blinds during the summer months. One shot just above "between the eyes" puts them down and out every time. 3 Weeks ago my girlfriend even downed a 370 pounder! Again one and done! Would recommend a hollow point for coons or smaller game though, the TMJ passes straight through and doesn't have the consistent "dead right there" one shot kill.

This ammo is great if you are using a .22WMR for a cc option! I use this stuff as my carry ammo in my charter pathfinder. zero duds in over 500 rounds of it and it has better penetration than the .22 lr, .25 ACP, or .32 calibers! If you are older or a woman who is recoil sensitive, or are new to conceal carry look at a .22WMR and consider this for your all purpose rounds (plinking/carry) In the NAA mini revolvers and black widow it works like a charm too! Cant go wrong. Stick with these as with small calibers HP's wont do squat for you!

very accurate in my savage rifle. 1/2" groups at 50 yards. kills squirrels without damaging. Have taken 20 with this ammo. Shots have ranged from 25 yards to 65 yards.

This is, without a doubt, ...

This is, without a doubt, the most accurate load I have tried in my newly purchased Savage 93FG-HB. Out of 4 different loads, it consistantly placed 3/4", 10 shot groups @ 50 yds and 1" groups @ 100 yds in close to calm winds. CCI does it again with a load that leaves the competitors behind.

Probably not the best ...

Probably not the best hunting round. It took 10" of wet phonebook @ 40 yards to stop it. I thought it would be good for shooting hogs in the head. Were only allowed to carry rimfires on WMA's until deer season. Very accurate though 1/2 " @ 50 yards with a 4X scope.
