Best I ever used in small ...

Best I ever used in small game hunting. But it will mess up the meat on small game. With this round you dont have to worry about loosing them once you hit them. With this round they want move great groundhog round you can shoot them next to there hole and you dont have to worry about them going in there hole it stops them right in there tracks good work CCI keep it up .

I've used this ammo for 25 years, in various rifles and handguns. CCI is the most accurate and dependable rimfire product on the market. 1/2" groups at 50 yards are normal with a scoped rifle. this and the TMJ shoot the same point of impact. The HP is great for larger varmints out to 125 yards.

Very accurate out of my ...

Very accurate out of my Marlin 925M. Under an inch at 100yds. It has been a raccoon slayer this season. Almost all of the shots were between 30-50yds and they put the hurt on em. It's been a Crow popper out to 100yds too. Looking forward to seeing what they are going to do on close range work for Ground Hogs. Squirrel Hunters: Head shots only!! These are zippers on tree rats!! Thank you L Hypes. I found out this past summer just how good they are on G-Hogs. Everything was 80yds and under, but it turned the lights out on em.

This review will help Craig on his ground hog wonders. As a boy my dad and 2 great uncles ground hog hunted with the .22 WMR, As a lad I was relegated to the .22LR. Long story short you couldn't put all the hogs they killed with the .22WMR in a dump truck bed. Some shots were over 100 yds. Dad having passed I now own his .22 mag Mossberg. I dropped a sick fox in its tracks at 80yds. So Happy hunting.

Always been a fan of CCI ...

Always been a fan of CCI in .22 long, got a Ruger 22/77 this year and ordered this to use squirrel hunting. Extremely accurate round, but devastates small game. If you're wanting to eat your kill better pick your shot good this will tear a squirrel up, nearly blow them in half. But that said if you hit one it will die before it hits the ground.

CCI MAXI-MAG and Ruger ...

CCI MAXI-MAG and Ruger 77/22m that's the combination. I've been shooting for 40+ years and I can't get over how well this ammo shoots. I can't miss. I use it on the farm for pest and predator control and no matter what I put the cross hairs on it's down or vaporized. VERY accurate! The only thing I haven't shot with it is a coyote. Only because I've not seen one around the house less than 100 yards away, and I'm not going to take the chance of wounding one at that range. For that I use a different rifle. I just wish I'd have bought more than 500 when I did, cause now it's hard to find.

It's the only ammo I will ...

It's the only ammo I will use in my Marlin 22 mag. I used it on around 12 or so groundhogs. My longest shot was about 75 yards. It gives great accuracy and killing power.
