As a result today's CCI primers are more sensitive, easier to seat and more compatible with progressive and automated loading equipment than ever before. They utilize modern non-corrosive and non-mercuric initiator mixes for the cleanest burn possible. Available in 1000 or 5000 count boxes.

Excellent primers, I ...

Excellent primers, I first started reloading with these and have used them ever since. The only issues I've had have all been due to my own mistakes. They perform flawlessly with every load I've thrown at them, from wimpy .32 ACP up to heavy .357 Magnum loads.Try gently filing down the rounded "nose" of the primer shuttle on your LnL-AP. I found that with mine it needed just a slight (just a few thou) shortening to seat primers properly.

Great as always, usually ...

Great as always, usually the only primers I reload with, unless I find a better deal elsewhere. Currently I am using some of my grandfathers old primers, from the mid 70's... they have stayed dry over the years and still work just as a brand new one does.

These primers are good ...

These primers are good quality, but they will not seat to flush (or just below flush) in my Hornady L-N-L AP. After firing one round in a small frame revolver, the spent primer protruded far enough to keep the cylinder from rotating. They seat perfectly in the Lee Auto prime, and my single-stage presses. I am working with Hornady to try to solve the problem. I do not think the primers are at fault. They may just be incompatible with the press.

Generally a good primer. ...

Generally a good primer. Plated primers slide better than non-plated Winchester primers in the old Lee hand priming tool. Therefore there are fewer installed upside down. They are very reliable except in my S&W SSR 686 with the action job. There are frequent failures to fire. Some will fire on the 2nd or 3rd try. Others will fire in the Ruger 161 but never in the SSR. Possibly the plating is too hard for the Smith. They tend to show less deformation in the full load .357s than the Winchesters. No ignition problems in the 161, 642, stock 686 or 9mm semi autos.

Being new to reloading I ...

Being new to reloading I thought I would try these out. So far they have worked great without any misfires. I am using them to make 9mm loads for my Glock and 40SW loads for my XD. I am just a casual shooter, so I don't know what benefit they give in terms of accuracy and I have nothing to base a comparison on, but for my needs they work great and they were on sale which made them an even better deal-Thanks Midway. Happy reloading!

I have used CCI primers ...

I have used CCI primers for many years in both the small and large pistol sizes, but mostly small pistol. They are very consistent in power and uniform in size. They feed well in my progressive presses and work well in my Dillon automatic primer loader. I can't remember ever getting a bad one, even those that had been stored for a few years. They seem to work just as well with pistols with modified light actions as with stock springs. I can't see how they could be any better!
