Quik-Shok is a hyper-velocity load that splits into three equal sections on impact. Not for use in target or match grade chambers. The case length is the same as CCI Stingers. This ammunition is new production and non-corrosive.

Out hunting Ground squirrels with Ruger 10/22 Butler Creek SS heavy barrel, used standard Rem HV 22LR ammo and wounded a pair that were able to get back to their holes. Second day accidentally used a mag full of Quik-Shoks that were meant for accuracy/function experimenting! I hit 4/4 squirrels and NONE moved more than 4" from point of impact. Function 100%, noise normal, accuracy at 25-30 yards was excellent. Caution: nickel+ sized exit hole ruins small game fur.

I tested this round against 34 other types of ammo in my stock Ruger 10/22. In terms of accuracy, it didnt fair too well. Only 2 other loads (Remington Viper, and bulk Russian Jr) were less accurate. QuickShock gave me average groups (5 shots @ 50 yards) of 2.44 inches. The average velocity was 1572 ft/sec with a std dev of 16.1. I had one failure to fire out of the box of 50. This ammo may shoot better in your gun, as .22 ammo is usually peculiar to each gun. Lets hope so. The high velocity is very interesting. I wouldnt use it for smaller targets, as it doesnt seem to be a "minute of rodent ammo. The high energy (175 ft-lbs!) might make interesting for ferals and coyotes. Based on the fail to fire, I wouldnt use in my Walther TPH for back-up CCW.

This stuff has ...

This stuff has frightening terminal performance. It is also very accurate. As others have said, if you plan to eat it or stuff it this may not be the right ammunition to use. If your goal is to make cans explode or dispatch varmits to their maker, this is the GOOD stuff.

I shot an armadillo with ...

I shot an armadillo with my .45 ACP. He did the jerk for 30 seconds. I then shot his uncle with a round of this .22 Quik Shok. Uncle Dillo fell over and never twitched. Astounding Performance from a little round. Please Midway, get more in ASAP!!!

CCI had their head on straight on this one. This is an impressive round for pests, such as those persistent squirrels, raccoons, starlings, and cowbirds on the birdfeeders. This is a "no foolin around" pest remover. Very good and consistent accuracy, thanks CCI.

Was using Stingers till ...

Was using Stingers till this batch.Had to address two large Raccoons that were tearing up my workshop. They were holding off my Chow dog till I arrived with my Walther P22. The range was under 10 yards so I can't talk about accuracy but both were dropped with one shot. The head shot was an understandable quick kill with most any ammo but the second with a neck shot was an eye opener with a huge exit wound and dropped in his tracks. Almost 500 rounds in my P22 now without a misfire or FTF. An awful lot of stopping power for a lowly 22LR in a Pistol. I recommend this stuff.

Powerful ammo, I was ...

Powerful ammo, I was shooting at a burn barrel with Ruger 10/22 at 50 yards and made a rather big entrance hole and dimpled the inside opposite.I was surprised, at first I was worried they would not penetrate the thick metal from 50 yards but they did.Expensive plinking ammo but worth the money to have a little fun shooting reactive targets that show the power of these little .22 caliber rounds.

CCI Quik-shoks are ...

CCI Quik-shoks are excellent for hunting squirrel and other small game. In my bull barreled 10/22 Ruger they are very accurate and the little critters barely take a step before toppling over at 30-40yds. The first time out with these "fragmentary" bullets, I was shocked "Shok'd" by this sudden repeated event of instant dropping, until I realized I was using truly expanding bullets. Caution: Not recommended for those after a clean hide though, the exit is larger than with standard ammo. Awesome ...

I just purchased 2 boxes ...

I just purchased 2 boxes of these and went ground squirrel hunting to try them out. Hit about 5 or 6 and all were one shot kills. The amount of damage was massive. Would not use these for edible game. Was hoping to get a hit on a crow, but only got one shot and missed.

The claim of the ...

The claim of the Quck-Shok is that they separate into three seperate pieces. I can tell you that they do shoot them into a gallon jug you will find three exit holes. Accuracy in my three .22 rifles is very adequate for hunting although very destructive, they do what they say and are worth whatever is asked of them. I just wish they were more available and it was very nice finding them here at Midway.

Very good accuracy and ...

Very good accuracy and shoots very flat, but I'm not sure it does what it says. Only seen these bullets fragment once in a water filled milk jug. Other than that it shoots clean and hits hard. I still prefer the stinger.
