The GamePoint bullet delivers controlled expansion and deep penetration for great game stopping ability. I began using this ...

I began using this ammunition in 2007 for predator calling, particularly in more urbanized areas. The majority of JHP and polymer-tipped ammo is not designed for animals as large as bobcat and coyote, and fails to provide adequate penetration. This particular bullet design however has always done the trick, and most often results in a broadside pass-through with very little pelt damage. To date I have taken 2 bobcats and 2 coyotes with this load out to app. 70 yds. One round recovered from a large tom bobcat shot at a quartering angle weighed in at 37 grs.

This ammunition is very accurate "when you can get one to fire"!! The varmint is already off and running by the time you get that nasty "click" and try to rechamber another. I gave it a three because it is very accurate and you get great penetration for coyote sized animals. Out of fifty, I had around fifteen duds.

Not a bad bullet for the ...

Not a bad bullet for the 22 Mag and larger varmints. I have shot exactly 2 ground hogs with these. One at 13 yds and another at 67yds. They both tipped right over and flagged their tails. Out of my marlin 925M, I can get the rounds to touch each other at 50yds. I actually sniped a small grass hopper at 50yds that had landed on my target. At 100yds it is normal to get .75-1.0 MOA out of these. I have shot them out to 150yds and was getting about 2.5" groups.

Excellent accuracy from my CZ452 - 3/4" @100yds consistently. Best accuracy of all 8 major 22mag ammunition tried to date by far. Should be great for raccoons and coyotes.

This round is my favorite ...

This round is my favorite close range 22 magnum coyote round. At 25 & 50 yards, it is tied for the most accurate 22 Mag out of the many I have tested. However, it is the most accurate 22 Mag round at 100 yards from my Savage rifle. Accuracy, 40gr weight & spire point jacketed bullet makes this one of, if not the best rounds for animals larger than prairie dogs & cotton tails etc. Thankful that Midway stocks these as they are not readily available where I live.

I recently was able to shoot the CCI Game Point 22 Mag. ammo I purchased from Midway. The accuracy out of my Ruger 77/22 Stainless HVY barrel is outstanding. The gun shoots less than 1/2'' groups with most any ammo at 50 yards. At 100 yds some ammo will give 1 1/4''. With the CCI Game points I can consistently put 3 shots touching at 50 yards. I'm looking forward to shooting this ammo at 100 yds and at game.

I have tried several different brands of ammo through my 22WMR and this has been the best so far. It has held the best groups and I have not had any problems with it jamming or any misfire. It mostly the weight and type of bullet that makes it group well through this particular rifle, but it beat everything else.

I ordered this ammo ...

I ordered this ammo because it is a bullet (per the manufacturer) designed for controlled expansion. I've shot many different hollow points through my Ruger 77 heavy barrel Target and they are far too destructive on small game that you intend to eat. I sighted the rifle for 50 yards with the Game Points. After the 1st shot it appeared as though I may have missed the target with the next 2 rounds. When I went to the target I had 1 a hole group of 3 bullets the diameter of a pencil. This has been the most accurate bullet I've shot through my Ruger. My hope is that is works on game as well as it does on paper.

Had my 22/77 with me as ...

Had my 22/77 with me as my pal Gene was looking for hogs; all I wanted to do was sight in these rounds but out of nowhere a big old greybristle came busting from the brush headed for Gene. I didn't have anything else so I let go a shot when the thing was maybe 30 yards from Gene who did a stumble when he heard me shout out. Lucky shot and the round hit high on the left front leg of the critter and it went nose down in the dirt. Tried righting itself and was grunting and head bobbing at whatever it thought was biting it when Gene let loose with his 30-30 and took the thing out of his misery. Now he brags on how I dropped a 200 pounder with just a 22 mag and we all have a laugh.Good accurate round with some oomph to it yes sir.

I got a box to try in my ...

I got a box to try in my Marlin 882vs 22 Mag and it shoots really good. I can get 1 1/4" groups @ 100 yards with it! Cant wait to try on game this fall.
