I bought several boxes of these, along with some Gold Dot, Federal Match, and Remington Sabers to run through a new Kimber Eclipse Pro II. I was a little worried about the quality and accuracy of the bullet because the ball itself isn't perfectly smooth. Each one has dings on them. But after 200 rounds, my worries are no more. I had 1.5 inch groupings at 7 yards, and 3 inch at 15 yards. I was getting the same groupings from all the other types of ammo I was trying out. No problems feeding through the Kimber. I just picked up another 500 rounds of it to use as my primary range round. Needless to say I am impressed.

This is decent quality ...

This is decent quality ammunition and works quite well (with one exception) in every .45ACP firearm I own, but I've had problems with the cases when reloading. I've used 7 boxes, 3 different lots, all clean, accurate, and sure-fire in everything, but reloading problems across all three lots. It would get 5 stars if I didn't reload, but then I'd be buying the aluminum cased Blazer instead.The cartridges are an extremely tight fit in every moon clip I have for a revolver, both cheap stamped units and quality made brand name ones. Aluminum Blazers and all other brands I've tried do not have this problem. Some of them also have difficulty fitting the priming tool shell holder on my Forster Co-ax press (if I set it loose enough to fit the tight ones, the 'normal' ones have too much freedom of movement to prime reliably). No other brand of cases, new or recovered from fired rounds, has given me this problem. Also the heads on one lot of cases was actually slightly coned inward (hold a straightedge across the case head and you can see a gap that is largest at the center). While this has not caused a problem in my firearms, it certainly might for those with shorter/weaker firing pin strikes since the primer is further away from the bolt/slide face. Again, I've never seen this on any other brand of case.

I usually shoot Tula Ammo ...

I usually shoot Tula Ammo but I noticed this stuff was marked down and for only 10 more cents I figured I would give it a try. Shot very well and left all my guns super clean. I like to shoot steel targets on my own property And tend to not go to ranges that only allow brass so I almost exclusively shoot steel case but for the price I decided to try this out and it is a very great product. Fed without any hiccups in all my pistols, Extracted smooth and cleanly in my Blackhawk convertible ( major plus since steel case kind of doesnt), and shot a clover at 100 yards in my H&K USC carbine. I might switch to this stuff for the quality. Steel case ammo is fine and all but is slightly more prone to jams and feed problems (in some firearms even misfires) but I didn't experience any of that with these. I will continue to shoot this so long as it stays below 20$ a box.

Good ammo-BUT-some of it ...

Good ammo-BUT-some of it may have use small not large pistol primers-this can be a real dangerous situation if you reload and your priming rapidly!! Speer/CCI says "they make ammunition to shoot once and not for any reloading ...the small primer works and its cheaper giving them a better profit per round .." a quote that told me not to buy them anymore...!

I didn't have any ...

I didn't have any problems shooting this ammo. But, if you reload like I do, you will find out that these cases have small primer pockets and take small primers. The standard .45acp takes large primers. My problem is that I have almost 1000 large primers and zero small primers to reload these.

This is great practice ...

This is great practice ammo. I have shot at least 2000 rounds of this stuff in .380 Auto, 9MM, .40 S&W, .45 Auto and never had any malfunction in any pistol I have... 100% reliability...These are the Pistols I've used:Glock 22C, 27 (.40S&W), Glock 34 (9MM), S&W Bodyguard 380, Springfield XD45 4" Service

Great ammo for the price. ...

Great ammo for the price. My 45's will eat just about anything so feeding, etc. is never an issue, but if you plan to reload buyer beware! This ammo has small primers! Not really sure why they would change something like that, but if you plan to reload the brass be aware of the small primers used in this ammunition.

I have shot thousands of ...

I have shot thousands of rounds of this ammo because I've been able to buy it cheaply and it shoots well. But I still can't believe they use small primer's! Ammo manufactures feel they can change anything bullets, powder, primer, ect..." and no one will notice. There right, most people don't no anything about their ammo, but when it comes to self defense ammo what bullet or powder makes a difference to me and if I buy a product and its changed I want to know. Buyer beware!!!!! That's why these reviews are so important. The manufactures don't tell you everything, just their sales pitch!!!

I purchased a box of 50 ...

I purchased a box of 50 at my local range and expected to be able to reload the brass, I will not be able to because the ammo is manufactured with small pistol primers. I won't be buying 100 or 1,000 small primers just to reload this brand's brass. It would get 5 stars if I didn't need to perform the extra steps to reload the brass. this ammo is accurate and fairly clean burning for the price.

I'm not sure why they ...

I'm not sure why they call it practice or range ammo. I would use it anytime a ball type bullet is needed. I've run it through 4 different firearms and they all shot it well. My Kimber CDP loved it for accuracy and my "beater" Springfield GI shoots it better than any other factory ammo. Very good componets for an economy ammo. Great service from Midway. This is a good deal!!!

My lot of ammo was ...

My lot of ammo was horrible. The rounds would not feed. In my STI 1911 the round would not feed up the ramp at all. A quick shove will return to battery with chip McCormick mags, will not feed with stock mags. 2 jammed after firing, bullet was pushed back. Accuracy was ok at 20 feet 2" groups. Don't waste your money, Winchester white box is cheaper and reliable.

Just put 500 rounds thru my Kimber CDP Pro II and am very pleased with performance. Used it in IDPA match and not a glitch. Very happy overall.
