I bought the extra ...

I bought the extra Kick-Off Bar for an NECG 98 mauser double-set trigger, as this is the part of the mechanism where all fitting adjustments for the sear and trigger are made. I bought the part as insurance in case I managed to mess up the Kick-Off bar that came with the trigger. In the end, I did not need the extra Kick-Off bar, but I did need the confidence that it inspired on this, my first time to install a double-set trigger. It made all of the difference, knowing that if things went awry, then I would have a second chance. Now I know how to install the NECG trigger, which is a joy to use - and I have an extra Kick-Off bar that will be good to have around, as I now intend to install double-set triggers on all of my Mausers. It's good insurance, well worth the money.
