A possible objection is ...

A possible objection is that these paper targets clearly define the IDPA scoring regions (you can see the zero-down ring over your sights), whereas actual IDPA competition cardboard targets do not. Yet there is virtue in this, as it trains one to shoot for the correct region of the overall area (a bit higher than the apparent "center of mass") to score zero-down hits. It's also true that the ink may darken one's fingertips, but this is not a huge problem compared to the cost savings of practicing with these instead of the real heavy cardboard targets. I use these by the car-load.

Placing my 2nd order today! Heavyweight paper, clearly defined lines result in a quality product. No ink rub-off problems. Fortunately, I'm in the printing business and have access to a large paper cutter, making it easy to trim the outer excess black areas off. We use these directly on our silhouette target holders that we've created a backer for out of rBoard, an insulating material. These practice targets then can withstand numerous hits before having to be replaced. Also, their color is a perfect match to everyday masking tape, making it unnecessary to hunt down a specialty tape for patching holes. Qverall, quite pleased with bang for buck... pun intended.

Just received these and very impressed with the quality. The paper is thick & strong. Heard other reviews of the black ink coming off on hands. Maybe on previous prints or on wet hands but no smearing/smudged. Clean quality targets, very happy. Will definitely order again.
