I musta got a bad batch

I attempted to clean the powder residue off the stainless cylinder of my Vaquero after firing. This stuff didn't affect it whatever. I also attempted to remove the sticky adhesive residue from a plastic pillbox to no avail. (I realize that this is not a use that was intended by the manufacturer). A plain lubricant from another manufacturer did the trick on both of these applications. I have poured the stuff (Elite)out of the pump bottle and replaced it with Hoppe's # 9 -a quality product.

I think this works just fine. I have used it on my Glock several times and I don't have any complaints. It gets everything as clean as can be.

I have had no good ...

I have had no good results with this product. I tried different methods like, letting it set overnight and, scrubbing with bronze brush. Run patches until clean, then I tested with another solvent. Kano showed the rifle to still have a lot of carbon. Elite removed absolutely no copper but, KG-12 removed all copper in one pass. Spend your time and money on other solvents at MidwayUSA.

This cleaner works very well and it is a great idea to provide it as a spray thus saving fluid, however the sprayer stops functioning. I've now emptied the 2 I bought into the tried and proven glass jar.

I like this stuff. It cleans bores well after cast or jacketed bullets. It requires fewer patches than #9 to do the job. After decades of complaints from family members about the smell bore cleaners, I finally got a better product with no stink. This and the Hoppe's Elite Gel both work great for me. I can't say which is better.
