Great unit for the money. The description doesn't really explain it, but there is an adjustable laser spotter attached. I bought it because it focuses down to 30' or so and can be used in my basement airgun range. The only negative may be that there is virtually no eye relief, and you have to get your eye right up to the eyepiece for a full view - bad when wearing eyeglasses or shooting glasses (which all shooters should do.) But I still get a pretty good partial view with my glasses on - good enough to give it 5 stars. Very easy focusing knob. Comes with good tripod, lens covers, and case. The entire unit rotates so you can look into the eyepiece from the left (or right) or any place in between. I am sure there are better spotting scopes out there, but this one is 100% better than my old Tasco, and it fits my needs perfectly.

I got this spotting scope because I wanted something to get me by till I could get a good one and I have had almost no luck with it. Image is always hazy, there have been several times Ive been just trying to sight something in at 100 yards and it takes so much time just trying to spot something at 100 yards most the time I just find myself walking up to the target to find where I hit if youre thinking about getting this try to just wait and get a quality optic

Well it works....is about all I can say about this optic. It does everything it says it does. Mine came with a laser sightin aid, which never worked out of the box. The unit is quite dim, and focus is never really achieved at any distance. It's a cheap unit, and it will work to an extent but don't expect to see bullet holes on paper past 200yards with any consistency. I used this on a mule deer hunt last year in South Dakota I was able to tell that the target was a deer at 1000 yards but couldn't tell much more than that, I ended up using my rifle scope more than this unit which defeats the purpose, I never want to use my weapon to check a potential target or glass in directions without sure of whats out there for safety. Save yourself some heart ache and disappointment and spend a bit more on quality glass.

Just got this scope today, been wanting one for years. You can't beat this price and speed of shipping form Midway, (3 days). I used it this afternoon on a military standard zeroing target at 25 meters, and it works great, you can see the small printed number to align the point of impact, with incredible clarity. The laser is not adjustable and I believe is used to get you in the focus area or range the target. Nice carrying bag nice quality for the price.

Purchased this in March, wasted my money. At 100 yards out, fuzzy, clear view at 50 yards. Save your money and put towards a better scope. You will be much happier. You get what you pay for. I chose this by other reviews they were wrong! Gave it 1 star because I had too.

Four stars! This is a great, cheap spotting scope for my 100yd range. Clear and easy to adjust magnification and focus. The tri-pod won't quite catch the threads of the scope (the rubber pad is a little too thick) and the laser is about useless at distance in daylight. But for a 60x scope the price can't be beat!

This scope is just okay at best. It's biggest draw is the price. Remember you get what you pay for. The view is grainy and full of artifact that look like the lens is covered with dust. In bright daylight at 100 yards, you will have difficulity seeing 5.56mm holes in your paper. While the price, makes it a bargain you will quckly out grown this scope and begain looking for a newer scope. Think about passing this one by and save for a better scope.

Thought long and hard before purchasing this as it is the first I have bought in many years. After reading the reviews it looked like it would fit my needs and it sure does. I am sure a better one exists but at this price I don't think it can be beat. At 100 yds I can easily see my 223 holes. Very clear and bright image even at 60 power. Very satisfied with this scope.

I have owned one of these for about a year and inherited another about 8 months ago. Neither is satisfactory as at any magnification over 30x the image tends to lose focus and become useless. The tripod is so flimsy it is worthless.

I have been trying to zero an old rifle I have had for many years and am having some difficulty with. I am older now and can not see where the shots are hitting, consequently, I have to walk to the target after every shot. 20 shots, 2,000 yds. Thats over a mile in June heat with mosquitoes, gnats and redbugs. So, I ordered this spotting scope with much trepidation, since it is about the lowest priced one you can get. It arrived today and I have to tell you all , I am ecstatic. I can not believe how clear the image is and I also was able to read the numbers on a power line insulater at about a hundred yards on twenty power. I realize this is not a top quality German made optic, but for an old guy on Social security, it is just the ticket. Great buy for the money!!
