Norma USA Brass is world renowned as being the absolute highest quality brass available. These cases start off with the best possible raw materials with the narrowest tolerances. The case necks are annealed to soften the brass and prevent gas leaks the case body is at the optimum hardness to avoid any unnecessary stretching. New, unprimed brass that features chamfered and deburred case mouths and a punched flash hole (magnum calibers are drilled). These cases should be sized before loading. This is not loaded ammunition.

270 Win brass. I have 25 Norma pieces from 4-5 years ago, made in Sweden, perfect brass all uniform in length at 2.533 +- ten thousandths. Max spec length is 2.54. I am just now loading those and needed more Norma. I also had bought Nosler Custom brass for 270 Win when I bought the original Norma. It was total junk and cured me of any future Nosler brass purchases. The Nosler was 25-35 thousandths shorter than spec and varied tremendously in the same lot. This new Norma USA brass most be made by whoever is making Nosler. Same junk but at least a little longer, still way too short, but length is varying 5-7 thousandths. Please do not buy. The manufacturers need to get the message that they cannot ride the current wave of any reloading component will sell regardless of quality.

Good brass, however, ...

Good brass, however, Winchester works just as well in my Tikka. Shoots .6 inch groups at 100 yards over sandbags. Also, I found the cases didn't weigh in as close as I thought they would, almost 2 grains of variation both ways. I was also shorted 3 cases, fortunately, Midway is a good company and refunded the sum.

This is excellent brass well worth the price. Consistent and uniform neck thickness, weight, and dimensions make many reloads predictable and easy.
