This Quick Detach mounting system is made from solid billet 6061 aluminum alloy, while the Quick Detach mechanism is manufactured from solid billet 4140 steel. With a Type III hard coat anodized matte black mil-spec finish and manufactured to MIL-SPEC-1913 these mounts and bases are sure to hold up to the toughest circumstances.
