Good idea, ordered it because it was cheap and the reviews were good, however the one I got is much too tight, esp. the back piece that catches under the mag. It is too brittle to bend, so I'm gonna try to file the contact points down, and then it should work hopefully.. As of now though, much too tight and gets stuck very easily defeating the whole purpose.

I purchased 3 of these 1 for my model 41, 1 for my colt woodsman which also works on the ruger 22/45 and one for the ruger mk 1. They're great. Relieves the stress on the thumb from depressing the magazine spring and allows you to load a magazine in seconds. Get one you'll be glad you did.

I bought this to use with my Ruger 22/45. It works flawlessly, and saves my thumb a lot of grief.Other reviewers complain that the clip on the back doesn't clip to the bottom of the mag, but it's just tight enough that friction holds it in place without any real pressure being needed to put it on or pull it off. Frankly, I don't think it's meant to clip to the bottom of 22/45 mags, and it would be less convenient to clip and unclip it if it were, since the plastic on mine is fairly inflexible.

Great product! At the time I ordered this, I made the mistake of also ordering an expensive Ultimate Cliploader at the same time. The latter was a total waste of money, but this unit works flawlessly and quickly to load my Browning Buck Mark magazines. The other unit is just total frustration and waste of money.

Great product! I have a Ruger 22/45 and several Buckmarks. Simple to use and easy to find due to the bright orange color. I have seen several concerns about the snug fit, but I feel it is just right. I bought 2 and plan to buy several more for my brothers.

I bought this speed loader for my Ruger Mk3 Target Stainless with a bull barrel and I was a little worried about the comments posted about the loader being too tight when slipped into the magazine body. When I tried it was a little snug but the magazine went through with ease. The flexing brake arm provided enough frictional force to overcome the spring force of the mag and hold the follower at any position including the full 10 round capacity of the Mk3 mag. The only issue that I see with this tool is with the brake arm being too short to hook under the magazine base (the reason why I gave it four stars). Nonetheless the tool will hold that spring all the way down where you can simply drop the ammunition into the mag until it is at capacity without bearing down on the speed loader's thumb pad. Will the brake arm tension ever loosen up to a point where it will not be capable of holding down the mag spring all the way - only time will tell? But right now this tool works great..

Once I learned how it works, it's great on my 22/45 Ruger. I first tried loading by sliding the loader down for each round. Not so good. Then I just pushed the loader all the way to the bottom of the mag and dropped in the rounds. Great! Good little device for the range.

Bought two of these loaders to use with my 22/45 magazines. Took them to the range with me Sunday and they worked exactly the way they are supposed to. I did not alter them in any way. Very pleased to find a product that is reasonably priced and works so well.
