The Bullseye rear sight naturally centers the front bead much like an aperture sight but with improved target visibility. Young or inexperienced shooters will enjoy the ease of aiming. Cowboy action shooters will benefit from the faster target acquisition and improved accuracy. This sight features a standard 3/8" 60° dovetail with a 0.095" depth.

Great sight and value.

Bought this rear sight for my Rossi M92, 26" oct. bbl. in .45 Colt. Easy installation using just an aluminum drift, small hammer and caliper. I exactly centered the sight in the barrel dove tail using a caliper to measure. My initial testing was at only 35 yards with the sight in the lowest setting. Using 255 grain LSWC bullets at very modest velocities, it shot POA. 5 shot group, off sandbag, = 1 larger (bullseye) hole. I am very pleased with this sight and would highly recommend it to anyone. My old eyes (64) easily and quickly centers the front bead in the ghost ring. I have trouble seeing with standard (iron) sights. Peep style sights work very well for me. 2nd best to using a scope. I am thinking of getting a fiber optic front sight for even better visibility but I don't know how much better it could be than it is now. Soon I will be testing out to 100 yards and will see how well it performs.

With older eyes I had trouble with standard open sights, and didn't want to use a scope on a lever action, so I gave this a try. I am amazed at the improvement over open sights! Clearer view of the target, much better accuracy than I was getting with open sights. I highly recommend this!

Nice fit n finish, ...

Nice fit n finish, dovetail fit was perfectly tight n right, but when I installed it on my Browning 1886 my factory front sight was WAY too low causing it to shoot around 16-18 inches high at 100 on the lowest set for this rear sight. MY measurement came a lot closer to .375 in the center of the aperture at the lowest setting on MY rifle with the octagon barrel, so I'd advise ya to either order a new front sight with this to save more shipping costs and time, or make sure your front sight is at least .375" high at the bead from the top of the barrel (on the Browning anyhow). 'Course different gun barrels are different heights, don't know where they came up with the .338??? If n when somebody comes up with a specific set for a specific rifle they're gonna take over the iron sight business.

I am very pleased with this sight, I mounted it on a Marlin 70p Papoose and it was an easy straightforward install. This sight allows for very good field accuracy and is a quality made product. I am pretty picky on recommending things to people, but this makes a huge diffence on getting a precise and repetable sight picture compared to the factory sights.

Excellent quality sight. Easy to install, used a hammer and steel punch, it didn't even mar the finish. Looks great on my Win 94 pre-64 model. Fits very snug.

I'd read about this sight on rimfire central's forum and everyone gave it high marks. I installed the 2-3/4" sight on a Henry H001T 22lr. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised! Everyone that has shot the rifle loves both the sight and the rifle, young and old alike! I would highly recommend this sight, as a plus it works great with the factory front sight. Get it!

I own a Savage Favorite ...

I own a Savage Favorite in .22 Magnum. I needed to upgrade from the issue sights and couldn't bring myself to sully the little falling-block rifle with a scope. However, I didn't want to drill/tap it for a tang sight. I've had the sight on my rifle for three days and have tried three different loadings of various cost/quality. All loads have been minute-of-squirrel at 50 yards and tin cans at 25 yards don't stand a chance. It installed with ease and looks just right on the rifle.

Aging eyes forced me to ...

Aging eyes forced me to consider scoping my iron-sighted Savage 340 in chambered for 30-30 Winchester ...that is until I stumbled on this excellent sight! Using the factory front sight(with a drop of florescent orange paint on it) I can now acquire and engage targets much faster than before. No more trying to line up a front sight with a rear notch I can barely see! This sight has given new life to my favorite old rifle.One word of advice though: I ordered the 2-3/4" sight for my 340 and had to shorten the sight elevator to make it fit. If you have a Savage 340, Stevens 325, or Springfield 840 measure the distance between the dovetail and the barrel ring before ordering. I suspect the shorter version of this sight is what you want. I recommend this sight very much. Easy, Easy Easy to install. The Marbles' Bullseye sight is a great buy, and for one third the price of a reciever sight you can get twice as much value.
