I had good consistency ...

I had good consistency with these balls using a 48" bbl with a 1 in 48 twist and Pyrodex Select. I tried GOEX and had erratic groups and was difficult to seat the ball.

I shoot these through my ...

I shoot these through my Kentucky flintlock rifle, 42" barrel, 1 in 60" twist, with vernier target sights. This results in 100 yd, 5-shot groups of 1" to 2-1/2" at 1575 fps. Even though I cast a lot of bullets myself, I have chosen to purchase these because of great reviews by others. The swaged balls don't have a spur like cast balls, so they are supposed to fly better. I am very happy with the accuracy, but the surface finish appears "dented" as in the Midway picture of the product. However, you can't argue with the results. Remember to always use REAL black powder, not Pyrodex. "It ain't the same without the flame"
