I bought two of these and have no problem getting all 20 rounds in (it seems some others had issues). The finish wears away quickly in areas that are subject to abrasion, but that's probably a no-brainer there.One of my magazines did, however, BARELY fit in both of my CMMG lowers. I mean I had to really push hard to get it in there, and same for taking it out. A quick call to midway and they sent another one out free of charge (since shipping the defective magazine back would cost more than the magazine itself apparently). Needless to say, even if you get a dud magazine, midway will right your wrong! Strongly recommend (value can't be beat).

This will not cycle correctly in my DPMS varmint rig. Tried both 64gr psp and 55gr fmj and had to use the forward assist to completely chamber a round - never had to use that before. Switched to a regular aluminum 30 rd mag (same bullets) and all went fine. Not sure what the problem is, the mag seems to be built well. After reading the other reviews, maybe I got a bad apple. I felt I should let everyone know my experience because I use these reviews a lot to decide on products to buy.

Short is good

The short 20 round is very handy for daily carry in a vehicle as it does not catch on the seat or other items as much. Less capacity but ok, just carry more in pouch.

I got this mag because ...

I got this mag because when I'm at the range the 30 rounda is kinda way too long. This solved the problem. Other than that I like the look and it has less wiggle room than my Pmag. It also has that old m16 look to it. Thanks Midway!

Needed some shorter mags and ordered 2 because of the price. Could only get 19 rounds in each but will probably loosen up. Both worked flawlessly in 3 different brand AR's with brass and steel case ammo. Only complaint is finish rubs off quickly. Being stainless don't think that's much of a problem. Seem to be very tough built and don't have to worry about dinging like the aluminum bodies. Will order more along with some 30 rounders.

I have 8 of these I use in XTC NRA High Power competition. NO MAG problems-EVER. The only time the bolt wouldn't stay open was when the gas rings got wore out or the bolt got dirty. I have about 8000 rounds though the mags.

I bought 2 of these for general target shooting and two of the AR Stoner 5 round magazines for hunting, in Dec 2011. I have run a mixed bag of ammunition brands and types through all of them. No failures to feed date. All of them drop free when I press the release. I will be buying more.

Bought a 10 round and a 20 round. The 20 round doesn't feed correctly. No problems with the 10 round or the factory Bushmaster.

I bought several of these mags a few yrs. ago but neglected to review until now. I have alot of AR-15 of various makes and many different magazines. After very limited use of these Stoner mags one came apart due to spot weld giving up so I don't trust or use them any more. They however seemed to perform well with zero problems except what I've stated.
