I have 3 of these magazines, 1 came with the trigger guard the others separately. The ones I bought separately leave a bit to be desired. The sharp unfinished feed lips dent your brass, are bent and flimsy, they are the only thing holding in my follower that is so skinny it almost rolls over on a single stack mag (hmmm?). The follower rattles and unlike the nice magazine that came with the guard there are no nubs to hold down the front end of the follower in this very long magazine. It is almost like the 2 magazines are built by different companies and for 80 bucks I expect Barrett quality in my mags, and lets just say this is not Barrett. I hope the company reads this review and watches thier quality control, it is not that hard to put a little more in your products. I have built several magnum bolt guns and was hoping to find a magazine that I did not have to make myself, after all single stack mags are not that hard to build especially ones like these. I have made nicer mags in my buddie's shop. I take more time to put out a better product and that makes for better guns as well as mags. They should take more pride in thier work, a life just might depend on it. Example: getting a grizzly, its that second shot that saves someone's life. It all comes down to a need for better craftsmanship!

Well, it certainly does ...

Well, it certainly does take a bit of work to get this to work well. I had to modify the stock, receiver, magazine well, bolt stop, and a little bit on the magazine in order to get it functioning well. And now, it's working quite well! There was a little scratch on the magazine well from where it appears as if it was assembled by hand, but otherwise the finish on this was great!If you're dropping money on a great rifle, and needing a higher capacity magazine for it, this is a sure bet!
