I have used these bullets for the past ten years in my 7mm08. Extremely accurate at short and long ranges on whitetails. A friend of mine was using Noslers. He was very frustrated with their performance and inquired about mine. He will now only shoot my Sierra reloads with 760 Win powder. Typical for Sierra.

Working on a new loading for my 7 Mag and tried these on the advice of my brother-in-law. To this point in my work they seem to shoot very, very well with either IMR 4350 or H4831. I get about 2" to 2.25" groups at 200 which is fine for my use. Will update later going south for a pig hunt end of May.

Have taken 3 antelope ...

Have taken 3 antelope with this bullet from a 7mm Rem Mag between 150-260 yards. All were one shot drops with no movement after impact. This bullet is awesome for antelope deer sized game but I noticed the same thing as another reviewer in that I had only fragments exit on a 120 pound antelope on a broadside shot. Use this within it's capabilities for game size and impact velocity and it's amazing but I'd switch to a heavier bullet for big deer and up out of a 7 Mag.

Bullets are great at long range. 350 yard shot on whitetails and total penetration on broadside shot. Deer never new what happened. Dead on impact not one step. Want the best? Shoot Sierras.

I was using 150gr Match ...

I was using 150gr Match Kings with excellent performance in my 7mm-08. Except that I was not getting proper expansion for smaller game such as coyotes and G-Hogs. Shooting at milk jugs at 100yds would typically result in .284" entry and slightly larger exit. The water then would slowly trickle out of the jug. I switched to the 150gr SBTs and used the same powder load as the MKs. It was shooting just as good, but with the added proper expansion that is needed to put the varmints down. Shooting a filled milk jug at 100yds resulted in a nice large explosion. From prone field conditions off of a bipod and using a rear bag, I typically get .50-.75" groups at 100yds. I shot a .75" 10-round string at the same distance under the same conditions. This recipe is giving a consistent 2745 average FPS. When I weighed the bullets none of them ever weighed under 149.9gr or above 150.1gr. Typical with Sierra bullets.

I found that the Sierra Gameking Bullet worked very well under all conditions. The Sierra also has a very good BC for that extra Long Range accuracy that I look for.
