Tipton Range Boxes are tough, portable and convenient. Each Range Box comes with a removable Cleaning Kit, compartmentalized storage space, molded-in loop for padlock (not included) and a sturdy reinforced hinge. They feature solvent-resistant polymer construction, a comfortable padded handle that folds flat into a recess in the lid for easy storage and rubber coated cradles to securely hold your firearm for cleaning and maintenance (cradles store inside the lid for easy transport).

This kit does not include any cleaning supplies. The empty cleaning kit allows you to customize the contents to your precise needs. Material:

Finally, the PERFECT ...

Finally, the PERFECT cleaning kit! The layout is superb. All your jags, brushes, solvents, patches, lubes and tools are right where you want them, and organized. The rifle cradles hold guns securely and are very handy. I'm very satisfied with mine. My only complaint is that the snap closures sometimes work themselves open, but they can be slightly "bent" to click tighter and stay closed.

Cheapest plastic I have ...

Cheapest plastic I have ever seen. Opened the box and it was already in pieces and that had nothing to do with shipping the box it was in was perfectly fine. I opened the lid only to find that it broke in just from opening it. Hope this is helpful to everyone that reads this Im not dissing Tipton because most of thier stuff is great but this is very poorly made.

As others have stated this box is a great idea but poorly executed. Latches fall off. The clear lid broke off my tray. I will never buy another do not recommend it to others.

Mine was preloaded with ...

Mine was preloaded with cleaning gear and have had no trouble with it. I have used it extensively and those seeing it want one. I also keep tools for minor repairs and scope tools in it and don't leave hunting or to the range without it. Excellent product.

This would be a great ...

This would be a great box, but the latches fall off after only a few uses. You have to remove them and place them back in the slots to close the box. Unfortunately this is true of many of the in house products. Attention to a few minor things would make the products excellent instead of a dissapointment.

The idea of the box is ...

The idea of the box is good but the design is not. The cleaning kit box will not hold small parts without them getting scattered all over the inside of the container. The latches on the box itself are lousy and fall off regularly.

I purchased this box ...

I purchased this box because of the gun cradle. It works very well and does not mar. It is useless now as a range box because the handle broke after 3 months. The latches also show signs of stretching and breaking. Good design but poor choice of plastic for the handles and latches. I will now only use it for storage. I will go with the MTM version to hold my cleaning supplies.

As someone else said, this is a good idea but cheaply and poorly executed. The main latches fell off immediately. The interior box doesn't keep things separated as it should - when you open it, all the bits and pieces are loose and jumbled up. Too bad, if it was done correctly this would be a very convenient item.

Durable product that ...

Durable product that keeps all of your cleaning supplies in perfect order and in one place. The tabs holding the top box loosened up, but after bending them back, they have never fallen out again. The organization and easy cleaning access with your rifle are super. I keep cloths, cleaners and rods in the lower level and organize all my jags, tips and patches in the upper compartment. Excellent product.

Much bigger in person ...

Much bigger in person than I expected. Pretty neat idea for a traveling cleaning and ammo box. Unfortunately I got a poor one. One of the latches fell off of the box the first time I opened it. The C-crimp of plastic on the box is too loose. I squeezed by hand and it tightened up, but the plastic is just too soft. I'll look for ways to rig it and if not I'll be exchanging it...

Great for organizing. I ...

Great for organizing. I took out the jag/brush box, and use a fishing tackle box for that and patches. In this I keep my tools, spotting scope, solvents, misc parts, lense cleaner and chronograph in this box. Obviously, it is big enough to carry a collapsable rod, etc, as well as all shells for a good day. My only complain is that the side walls are too flexible when cleaning and they flex too much. Also the top sometimes must be jiggled to get the lid to close properly. Glad I bought it. Far better design than the tipton gun vise.
