Redding Titanium Carbide Dies are used in Redding's premium die sets such as the Pro Series and Competition Pro Series. These Sizer Dies offer a smoother finish than other dies thanks to the inherent grain structure of the titanium carbide. The result is fluid function with no binding; a quality that is simply unattainable with other materials. These dies also include a decapping assembly. Like all Redding dies, these dies are carefully machined out of high quality alloy and then hand polished for reliability and consistent performance. Carbide dies do not require case sizing lube when sizing brass.

Well worth it

The claims about Ti Carbide being slicker than tungsten carbide are true. Using this die, resizing effort is about the same with dry brass as it is with a standard carbide die and a light coat of one shot lube.

The only way this die could be better is by using something like Dillon's "unbreakable" decapping pin. The pins that come with hold up well enough, and are inexpensive, sure. But they won't hold up against a Berdan primed case that sneaks through, and occasionally an especially small flash hole will grab the pin and pull it out of the die, seizing the press.

That's a rare occurrence though. All in all, I like these dies better than the Dillon and Lee carbide dies, and have switched all my sizing dies over to Redding.

This is a first rate product and is up to Redding's normal standards. I bought this to replace a carbide sizer from another vendor that did not size the cases enough for good bullet tension. This die works very well in that regard.
