Product Information

The Crosman 760 Pumpmaster Air Rifle has been one of the most popular and dependable air rifles for the last 40 years. The 760's durability and ease of use has stood the test of time, and provided countless hours of shooting fun for families across America. The Pumpmaster is known for its short-stroke, high-compression pump action that produces 600 FPS with pellets and 625 FPS with BBs.

As with all things, change happens over time. The 760's recently underwent a new cosmetic update with new buttstocks and forends. The good news is, we have the last remaining stock of the Classic 760 that so many youngsters called their first air rifle. Quantities are limited, so don't miss out on your last chance to own the legendary Crosman 760 Pumpmaster in its classic configuration.

The front green sight is very bright and helps them concentrate on aiming.
The not so good.
Gun has a lot of plastic.
Gun is not made in USA.
The gun is not one that would be handed down over the years, but I believe it is a good beginners gun, that shoots better than the old single stoke/spring type bb guns.
This is a good starter gun,if YOU SUPERVISE AND HELP LOAD AND PUMP IT.
I picked it up on sale, and I think it was a good deal for our purposes of a starter gun.

This pellet rifle was smaller framed than thought.It is good size for my grand son.I sighted it in and gave to him.It seemed to have
power,sinking pellets into a piece of wood.He could pump it fairly easy.
I don't like the front sight the way the top of optic sight is under the carrige and you can't
get a fine sight.The rifle seems built strong but
I really haven't spent alot of time with it after
Grand son took over.I think it's better siuted for smaller kids not adults.

To pump the gun took more effort than I expected. Many children would not be able to activate the pressure cylinder there by requiring adult supervision which turns out to be a safety feature! Will mount a scope real soon to improve accurracy.

Rifle is used for vermin control. The repeated pumps are a nuisance at times, but the rifle performs admirably at 10 strokes. Accuracy is decent and with pellets as opposed to BB's this improves to a limited degree. Very nice for teaching a younster the basics of shooting, and the pumping requirement slows them down a bit and gets them to concentrate on the task at hand.

My second Crosman 760 in 40 years. The front sight makes for quick target acquisition for this old man whose eyes don't focus as quickly as they used to do.

I got a couple of these for my 6yr old grand kids. The plastic stock looks flimsy but keeps it light and is a good fit for kids.Easy to pump,load,& shoot.I shot from bench @ 60'for a 2" group.Great beginner gun,good bargain.

I would buy another. Very good quality. Very accurate. Don't particuarly like the optic front sight, I prefer the old standard iron sights.

Overall a very good quality air rifle for the price.
