I use these for 600-yd. ...

I use these for 600-yd. ammunition loaded for my AR-15. Sierra 80-gr. MatchKings seated to touch the lands end up with a 2.450" overall length. The plastic is of good quality so that the hinge will last a long time. I wish RCBS would go back to the translucent plastic that they used to use so that you could see how many rounds remain without opening the box.For the most part I think that RCBS equipment cost too much for what you get. In this case, it is worth every penny.

These are the only boxes ...

These are the only boxes that I have found that will accommodate .223 Remington cartridges that have the bullets seated out to touch the lands. Cartridges up to 2.48" OAL will fit. Also, the little cup molded into the bottom of each compartment protects the bullet point and allows the cartridge to be stored bullet-down without them leaning to the side.The only complaint that I have about the current production boxes is that they are opaque. The older ones that I have are translucent.
