If you can disassemble your gun for cleaning, you can install the conversion kit. It is that easy. It works exactly as advertised. The makers need to do away with the red plastic primer holder thingies and come up with a breech plug that holds the primer. You can't use Blackhorn209 with the plastic jackets. They are difficult to seat a primer in and you need to back off your load or the gun will re-cock when you shoot it. Since it is the only way I know of to use 209 primers in a Wolverine, I don't have to recommend it. If you want to use 209 primers, you only have the one choice. Plus, if you want to use 777, you have to have a 209 primer. If I had it to do over again, I would just keep the percussion cap and use Pyrodex.

The kit was perfect. It was easy to install with the very clear directions. Once installed the performance was everything I hoped it would be. This breathed new life into my old Knight Rifle.
