Great Fit and Finish. ...

Great Fit and Finish. Functioned perfectly with .308 based cartridges but would only work with six or sometimes seven 22-250 cartridges.

I bought this magazine as ...

I bought this magazine as an extra reload for tactical matches. The magazine arrived and it did not need ANY alterations. It fed all ten rounds smoothly, better than the original 5 round magazine that came with the bottom metal. I recommend this magazine system for anyone that wants a detachable system. The price of the bottom metal plus 5 and 10 round magazines is equal to other companys bottom metal only. I will get another magazine system for my other tactical and hunting rifles.

This ten round magazine ...

This ten round magazine did not work at all and was sent back to midway for a refund. I also did not like the way it looked on my Remington 700. It simply looked odd and too long and large in relationship to the rifle. The quality and performance of the trigger guard assembly together with the 5 round magazine was PERFECT.

If you're on the fence ...

If you're on the fence about Wyatt's Trigger Guard, don't be. The fit and finish is excellent; dropped into my 700VTR with hardly any modification to the stock (took about five minutes with a pocket knife.) This ten round mag is a nice option for plinking or additional firepower, but not really necessary. It works great, but only gets four stars because it has some pretty sharp edges...and it looks just a little goofy hanging out of your rifle. For most applications, Wyatt's five round box mag is the way to go...
