Good steel, good bluing, ...

Good steel, good bluing, looks great with my wood grips. The slots may be slightly narrower than spec but install easily with the correct size screwdriver. Use a hollow-ground screwdriver preferably. Just be a little careful with the screwdriver to avoid marring up the finish. Nice set for a few bucks.

The Screws are only ok at ...

The Screws are only ok at best. They all threaded perfectly in my Springfield 1911 Loaded, but the bluing has started to wear off and does not look good at all. I can see the stainless steel version of these to be 5 stars, but the bluing wearing off I did not like. The steel itself is good, I am very prone to stripping the slots off screws, but this one has not shown any signs of stripping after repeated times of taking the grips on and off to clean the pistol.

Good quality. On 1 or 7 ...

Good quality. On 1 or 7 there was a circular machining ridge. Attractive blueing. It should be noted that the screw slots are slightly narrower than spec.
