This allows for precise shot placement, even in poor lighting conditions. I purchased one of these ...

I purchased one of these particular scopes after reading much about them on the internet and talking with the owner of the company. I own a couple high dollar Burris scopes and a high end weaver scope. I have used many Leupold, Simmons, Tasco, Bushnell, and Weaver scopes. I will not say that this scope is better than all of these brands that I have used but I will say that for $230.00 it can't be beat. It is almost as clear as my high end Burris scopes and the top of the line Weaver and Leupold hunting scopes that I have shot. The clarity is also really good especially given that this scope is so reasonably priced. I have it mounted on a custom varmint gun that consists of a REM 700 action with a Shilen match grade barrel and Choate varmint stock. The rifle is chambered for 25-06 and I have no problem shooting tiny one hole groups with my rifle and scope combination. I would not trade it for anything. This scope I would dare say is the best value on the market especially given that it is illuminated. As for the last guys post you should contact Mueller with your issue on the glass clarity, these scopes are way better than a Bushnell Banner. The reticle is glass etched so they are going to be finer than most are use to but the dot is a perfect size.

For the most part, this is a very nice scope for the price. I mounted it on a Rem 700 in 220 Swift. Very clear and bright. The one complaint I have is with the adjustable objective. It's off quite a lot from what yardage it states on the scope. Customer support was dismal. I emailed them about the problem and never received a response. That was well over 2 years ago. Its not a crisp as my Leupold VX-3 but I didn't expect it to be for the price. All in all its a good scope for the coin.

Just bought another Mueller. They are very good quality and are rugged. These scopes are tough and brilliant. Tracking is great. Mate it with some 30mm 6 screw rings and you'll have a great set-up. Buy with confidence!

Just took my rifle out for the second time hunting and 28 crows have bit the dust thanks to this rifle scope, the illuminated dot is very good early in the morning and if you have heavy cloud cover it shows up real well on crows. The adjustments are spot on and the clarity is very good at all magnifications.

I have now been using this scope regularly for almost 2 years and am still very pleased with it. It's mounted on an extremely accurate Winchester Hi-Wall in 223. Most moderately priced scopes are pretty clear and bright these days, but few I have used track as well as this Mueller! (I have a couple of Bushnell Elites, a Leupold and two Weaver target scopes and this Mueller holds its setting and tracks as accurately as any of them.)

I had previously rated this scope poorly due to parallax issues. However the real issue was the user not the scope. Once I found that I had improperly focused the eyepiece the parallax issue disappeared. All in all I would consider a Mueller for my next scope.

You won't find a better scope for the money. The dot is quite small and allows your eye to concentrate on the target. Shooting dime size bulleyes without breaking a sweat at 100 yards with my .223.

This is truly an excellent scope. Very clear even at 25X. It has adjustable target turrets under the turret caps, nice.Mueller WILL stand behind what they sell with good fast service. The red dot in the center is nice for picking targets out of dark cover. Parallax is excellent, an often overlooked feature.

This is the best scope I have ever used. I have used all the high price scopes from $200 to $900 and this is the one I will use for years to come. This was the best money I have ever spent on a scope. I sighted it in at 200 yards on my 1942 303 and I can hit a dip can. Then I sighted it in at 400 yards and hit the same can.

Hold the phone! I have had to change my earlier review of the Mueller scope. After getting information from Mueller about using the "fast focus" feature of this scope I have completely changed my mind! The picture is now incredibly clear and sharp. I had the rifle on the range earlier this week and was able to see and shatter an 8 inch clear/green glass bottle at a measured 400 yards! This scope has better parallax adjustment than my Bushnell scopes and the windage and elevation adjustments are extremely precise and predictable. I think this Mueller scope just might be the best thing available for the price!
