The Fobus Compact Paddle Holster is excellent quality and a great value. The design does not require a belt and can be attached or removed in seconds. Carefully molded polymer bodies mean excellent retention without the need for an external safety strap. The paddle has molded protrusions which will fit under your belt and help hold the paddle in place. The holster is riveted to the paddle for a more secure hold. The holster molding itself secures the firearm by the trigger guard.

Excellent holster. I've been using one for my Glock 36 for about 3 years without any issues. I've been using the Fobus SG-21 for my Sig Sauer P220 compact SAS for about 1 month and I love it. The holster is a perfect fit and comfortable to wear. highly recommend this holster.

I really like this Holster...I'm using it with my SIG P226. As stated by some others, yes, it fits tight. However, that's the way it's designed, and part of the "passive retention locking system". (And as it clearly states on the packaging). It's designed to be drawn quickly, and straight out. (If you try to draw it out gently or at an angle, it will give you a hard time...(which, as far as I'm concerned is a good thing, because it isn't easily taken out of your holster by a would be assailant). With a little practice, your pistol can be drawn and ready in a matter of mere seconds. I highly recommend this holster...especailly for the price.

Pretty decent product, I've used it on a P220 and a P226, both with rails, it works pretty well after some use, but like others have said it is very tight in the begining, after about four months it is still pretty tight.

First time using the ...

First time using the holster I had to pry the Sig P220 out of the holster. I then pulled the holster apart where the slit is near the trigger and then I was able to holster the gun and then extract it from the holster. After months of use it functions a lot better. May need some extra engineering on Fobus side.

I've been using Fobus holsters for some time now and never have had a problem. Some people complain about having to pry the gun out of the holster, but if you read that directions the gun can only be withdrawn if you pull strait up and out. It's a smooth motion that takes some getting used to. I like it because while it isn't a safety feature it does make the gun feel more secured.

These Fobus holsters are probably the best-made and easiest-to-use holsters you can find. They do not require a belt for carry, and they allow for a very fast draw and replacement of the firearm. I can draw, shoot, and replace my Sig in less than two seconds using this holster. It is very durable and comfortable, and this model holds the pistol close to the user's body (unlike the swivel model). This is definitely a five-star product!
