I've been using this bullet in my Marlin 1894cl in 218 Bee for several years now. It performs very well in that gun. Groups run between 1 and 1 and a half inches in size. The only reason I didn't give it a five star rating was that in my Rem 700 Classic 221 Fireball performance of this bullet was only fair. I suspect that if you stick to cartridges like the Bee and the 22 Hornet in loading this bullet you will do very well. For higher power cartridge like the 223 Rem., etc. you'd probably be better off going with a different bullet.

I have tried several ...

I have tried several batches of these and the performance seems to vary from lot to lot. Good lots, with consistent weight and length shoot quite well. Bad lots, with weight variance and length variance, not so well. I try to buy these 500 at a time, check that all the individual 100 bullet bags are the same lot, then sort them two ways, by weight, and then using a bullet colimeter, by length from base to ogive. Sorted this way, they shoot quite well, unsorted, lots of fliers in some lots. Out of sorted batches I get 1 moa at 100 yds with Lil'Gun in a 10" contender, 1.5 moa in a DPMS AR-15 with W748 and .5 moa in a CZ-550 22-250 with RE-7.Overall, a good bullet if you don't mind doing a little sorting work.

A terrific bullet for 22 ...

A terrific bullet for 22 Hornet. It's exceptionally accurate in my Ruger 77/22H when loaded over a minimum charge of AA 1680 with no crimp, shoots 5/8" @ 100 yards with a 6x scope. I'd give it 5 stars if it weren't so tricky to seat.

I've used this bullets for many years in a Remington 788 in .222 Remington caliber. Very destructive on ground squirrels! I myself have recently acquired a Browning Micro Hunter in .22 Hornet, and with Lil Gun the hand loads are looking promising indeed in the accuracy department and this Winchester bullet.Can't wait to go gopher shooting with it!

I use these bullets in my T/C .22 hornets with 10" and 12" barrels. I shoot pistol silhouette and these knock down the animals with no problem. I keep the velocity below 2000 fps as not to damage the animals. When sighted in at 50 yards the bullet drops 2 inches at 100 yards, which is not a big deal. For the money you won't find a better bullet.

I use this bullet with a load of Blue Dot powder in 223s. MV is about 3250 in a 26 inch barrel. This little bullet is Cheap! but deadly accurate with the Blue Dot load and very explosive on Sage Rats and Prairie Dogs.Blue Dot powder takes a long time to heat up the barrel since you are shooting less volume of powder. So at this price, and this accuracy, one can shoot Cheaply and do a lot of it! The Varmints will curse your very existance with this combo! Your wallet will love it and so will your rifle!

For the money, it's a fine bullet. I shoot this bullet from my CZ Hornet and get around 5/8 MOA. Kills prairie dogs well at 2860 ft/sec.

I have developed a load ...

I have developed a load of Blue Dot powder in a 223, with this bullet, for a MV of 3250 fps. For the price, the performance of this bullet is both excellent for accuracy and VERY explosive on game performance. Taking ground squirrels that are the size of a pop can at 250 yds, with this load. Not even a Ballistic Tip or Blitzking has given me that performance, but the accuracy of the bullet rivals those two.
