Fantastic performance! I ...

Fantastic performance! I Load these for Self Defense in 10mm and could not be happier. At 1350 bullet out of 5 inch barrel flattens to 0.8 inch and does not fragment. Slick feeding nose as well, so good for carbines. At 1650 out of 16 inch barrel matches the ballistic curve of the .30 Carbine, but more power at range! Perfect weight for extracting all the 10mm has to give. 800X or AA#9 is the powders to use, but 800X must be hand weighed as it meters poorly. If you are one cartridge man, then this is your bullet, good for hogs or bear right down to Urban Carbine or personal pistol. Rarely does a single bullet do everything, but the Silvertip Shines (Pun Intended). Load in nickle cases and CCI primers for a total Silver look.

Excellent bullet. Very ...

Excellent bullet. Very accurate, and EXTREMELY tough. These are not ideal for .40S&W, but more suited for 10mm use. I have tested nearly all .400" bullets in 10mm, and these are some of the best. However, they will not open to full diameter at lower speeds. At true 10mm velocities (1250-1350fps) they open like a parachute to about .8-.9" and flatten totally. Great bullet for self defense use if you like the heavier bullets. They DO NOT break apart. The jacket will RARELY separate.

Excellent bullets! I use these to load my Self Defense Loads and love them, they are very accurate, Expand well and retain there weight,They also feed perfectly and overall function flawlessly. Best bullet I have found for Self Defense loads in your carry gun. I would definitely recommend these in both .40 cal as well as the 147gr 9mm bullets. I get the same type reliability from those as well.RemMax

Excellent bullet, I load these for my Self Defense Loads to keep in all 3 of my .40's, very accurate, excellent expansion and as mentioned above they hold together at top velocities.I use this brand Silver Tip Hollow Point Bullet for all my rounds they are available for and have had excellent results with all of them.Definitely recommend these for Defensive Loads!RemMax

I have loaded and fired 200+ rounds of 10mm auto loaded with this bullet through S&W 1006. Functioning was 100% and accuracy good.Limited testing indicates massive expansion.An excellent bullet for the 10mm auto.
