Millett's Angle-Loc rings are made from heat-treated nickel steel. Rings are windage adjustable to help you get the most out of any scope. They also feature interlocking alignment guides and magnum recoil splines, and are 30 to 50% lighter than other steel rings.

CHOOSING RINGS: Ring height is determined by measuring the outside objective (bell) diameter on your scope. If you aren't sure which rings will suit your needs, please refer to the Ring Height Application Chart.

Very good quality solid ...

Very good quality solid all steel rings, the base to tube is within .0005 of each other. I used these to mount a 6-18 AO Redfield on a 270 Winchester, Browning A-Bolt. The bases are Weaver Grand Slam S-47 rear and S-468 extension front, this gives more latitude for positioning the scope. A good thing on a long action.Even with these low rings, I still have over .200 clearance for the 2.035 objective bell.The bases are also of very good quality, they lined up well with a straight edge, and did not require any shimming on my action. Over the years, I have encountered many bases that needed shims to fit properly to avoid scope damage or insure adequate elevation adjustment. In my view, these rings need special attention when installing or you could put harmful stress on the scope tube.I,1. Centered the reticule in the scope.2. Installed the front and rear rings loosely on the tube and set the scope and rings on the mounts.3. Snug the front ring to the base, positioned the scope for proper eye relief, leveled the reticule then tighten the front ring to the tube. 4. Tightened the rear ring to the tube and make sure its base clamps are loose.5. Used a bore-sighter and adjusted the reticule to center with the lock down screws until it was tight to the base. 5. Alternated tightening the rear ring from side to side trying not to move the reticule off center until the ring was tight.You might be able to feel your way through the installation but I recommend using a bore-sighter so you can see whats going on. The Millett rings bank off the top flat and side angle of the base unlike some others (Burris Z and some Leupold) that only bank off the angles of the sides. I havent looked at all the Weaver type offerings but I think the Millet design makes for a more precise and solid installation. I would not use these rings if I were looking to swap scopes and expected repeatability but for a more or less permanent installation they are a good choi

I have two sets of these. ...

I have two sets of these. They lock up to the base very solid, hold the scope solid as a rock, and just plain look good! They are made of solid steel yet are surprisingly very light in weight. I recently broke one of the base clamps while trying to get a set of these to fit a base that had the cross slots made to narrow, it was in no way Millett's fault. I wrote Millett an email about my situation wanting to know if I could purchase another clamp. Millett responded by sending me not one but two clamps, free of charge. Customer service like this is hard to beat and even harder to find! My hats off to Millett, and I have found my ring manufacturer for life!

I use the rings to attach ...

I use the rings to attach scopes to Leatherwood mounts for AR-15s.The things I like best are the ability to zero windage using the base, the quality, the fit and that they come with the allen wrench you need to install and adjust them.

I have used Millet rings ...

I have used Millet rings for three years now. They are reasonably priced and have the same finish qualities as other rings. What I love about these rings is that when one uses alignment rods, they can align the rings very easily. Since it is a weaver base, you only need to align in one plane. Just split the difference between the two mounting screws at the bottom of each ring. No lapping required. Too easy.
