Purchased Ross Leather Belt Slide Holster with Thumb-snap Right Hand 1911 Leather Tan Product number 141926 for a Springfield Armory 1911 Champion PW1942LP .45 Auto. 4 in. barrel, full length grip. Good looking holster, Good stitching and fits the weapon snug. I agree with previous poster, the thumb break is all wrong. I will use it hammer down only, until I can find a better thumb break holster.Thank you

The holster is ...

The holster is attractive, nicely lined and with one exception, fits the 1911 well. That exception is the thumb break - it fits too loosely with the hammer down but too tightly to permit carrying the gun in the preferable "cocked and locked" mode.Otherwise, it's a nice holster but mine's still in its package.
