First the product is ...

First the product is labeled as a DRY lubricant and may be confused with a product such as dry graphite but it really is a dry lubricant in a fast evaporating liquid so it goes on wet but quickly dries to a dry lubricant. This makes it easy to apply sparingly to small targeted areas. It works great and does not pick up dirt. Any fouling is easily removed with a patch. I use a toothpick to apply as you only need a very small amount so it is economical.Don't load up parts and be sure the parts to be treated are clean. Do not FLOOD close tolerance parts such as firing pins as the excess residue can hamper operation. It is black so you will get black fingers if you handle freshly treated parts. You might find you may start to drop parts after treatment as they are so slick.JUST FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS and you will have slick and dry surfaces. I use it on all my firearms.
